i got my first pay check today.
and i actually got £106.32 for 11.25 hours work ... but the draw back is i got £23.32 tax deducted... so i only left with £83...
and i still in full education.. i think there's been a mistake with my tax code and there taxin me like everyone esle... i gotta check... hope i get a tax re-bate.. hehehe.
but i tax its evil... all the extra money i earned from the 4/5 hours over time i done has gone as tax...

Just wait until the next tax return circus is due - you should get most of it back. |

I'd just like to point out, for all of us in the US, that any tax you overpay from payroll deduction is not paid back WITH INTEREST when you get your refunds. So the governments get your money to play with for free.

Heh you're lucky you don't live in Quebec. If you make 60,000 a year, the government takes a little under 50% of that. Heh Canadian taxes Sux0r _________________ -Thewz
