There was a glitch in the number of MGs an engineer could build. Some players were abusing this and so we took it off until a patch or new release was done by the NEO guys.
Well, a new release is finally OUT!!! so stay tuned...

You won't have to wait long. I'm in the process of installing the new NEOTF v1.4.1 onto TV4. It should be up and running this afternoon. I'm not sure when TV3 will follow suit, but I'm guessing it will be soon too.

Personally I'm wondering what new bug will be found. I do think a lot of the newest additions are a little overboard but then that is just my opinion of course. Getting a bit spammy for my taste.
Since the sniper anti-rocket command is different between the versions I think I will stick with TV3 for now rather than change my config files for TV4 just yet. Not to mention I've run out of keys for the demo specials !! |

I'm gonna be negative prick here, but I don't like all the extra stuff in the new NEO. Apaches? the AGPod? Rocket shoes? *gag*
Is it possible to enable some things, and disable others within the NEO mod?

I agree on the Apache, but whats wrong with the agpod and pyro jetpack. Pyros have a hard time and this gives them something to compete with. Oh well.

Now there are two different flying spam-mobiles. The apache and a commanche too. Soldiers are powerful enough as it is. where are the goodies for the scouts? |

Wow, I go out for lunch and come back to all this!
I'll be using most of the defaults settings. Pyros will still be able to jump, using up 30 health each time. (so they won't be doing matrix jumps all the time)
There will be no Apaches/Ospreys/Flying Squirrels for soldiers. I've reverted to 1 remote rocket per life for them.
No flashbangs for snipers.
Medics have the same abilities to upgrade dispensors, MGs, and create that Pod thingy.
Demos have that mine-laying feature.
No spy-cloaking sharing abilities
No HW-armor sharing abilities
Spies will still drown
and I think that's about it... I'm trying to make this a very gradual change to the new version, so there are only a few additions for now.
