Happy CanaDay!

Canadian TV right now has a hilariously crap ad campaign for a Nova Scotia-brewed beer, with the rough Scottish accent, bagpipes and kilts. My wife apologises to me every time it comes on.

Go figure you move to a US territory and one of my good friend now lives where you use to live.

Why? Didn't you notice the new trend? Things with Scottish accents are cool. Anyone notice how the Extra Gum commerical just "now" happens to have talking gum and with a Scottish accent when they (as far as I know) never did before? And before that, I think Red Bull did, but I haven't seen or heard a advertisement for one of those in quite some time.

Not that there's anything wrong with that - I enjoy being told my accent is nice (not that it happens often, because I'm not a speaker). I guess it happens for everywhere, such as with the Malibu adverts with the Caribbean people. Or with the posh British accents you hear when a company is attempting to give a higher-class image.

What does that have to do with the memos?
