Looking for a video card :)

I am currently looking to upgrade my current video card. My current card is an Nvidia GeForce2 with 64MB Ram. I am looking to upgrade to an ATI card but not sure which one to look at. I don't think I need the best or the baddest card but I am looking to get some good bang for the buck.

The one I am currently eyeballing is the ATI Radeon 9800 128MB AGP Video Card. I know there are better ones out there but for the money it seems like a good buy. I was just looking for some opinions from those that know a little more than myself.

BRN, if your prepared to pay for a 9800 then just go for a 9800 pro. But if you want a good compromise then a 9600 Pro is all you would need.

JMHO.

Do some searches for other peoples thoughts and reviews of cards, hardocp.com may be a good place to start.

I don't know how good those new ATI cards that are supposed to be that come with HL2(or at least a coupon for it). That also might be a route to look into if you are going to be getting HL2.

Thx for the link Cobra. And the info Vulcan/Borg. I think I may be waiting for that XT to become available to me before I buy. That may be the way for me to go, tee hee hee. I will just live with what I have till then.
