Subject: NOTICE FROM CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES:
Afghanistan Cruise
We at Carnival Cruise Lines
didn't forget that a lot of entertainers
had promised to leave the country if
George W.Bush became President.
With that in mind, we have a Special Offer
for those who want to keep their promise!
Attention: Would Alec Baldwin, Rosie O'Donnell,
Cher, Phil Donahue, David Geffen, Barbara Streisand,
Pierre Salinger, and anyone else who made that promise,
please dispose of all US assets and report to
Florida for the sailing of the Funship Cruise,
"Elation," which has been commissioned
to take you to your new vacation homes
in Afghanistan.
You may opt to be dropped off in Somalia or Iraq.
The Florida Supreme Court will sponsor
a Farewell Parade in your honor
through Palm Beach,Broward,
and Miami-Dade counties prior to your cruise.
Please pack for an extended stay...
at least four years and you should consider
the possibility of eight years.
Note: Since you advocate strict gun control, you may not bring any.
Staffing your voyage is Bill Clinton as captain,
Al Gore as cruise director,
Monica Lewinsky as recreation director,
Ted Kennedy as lifeguard
and emergency procedures director,
And
Congressman Gary Condit as intern coordinator.
If you have any questions about making arrangements
for your homes, friends and loved ones,
please direct your comments to
Senator Hillary Clinton.
Her village can raise your children while you're gone, and she
can watch over all your money and your furnishings until you return.
Bon Voyage!"
Is this a great country or what! _________________

Doesn't Senator Ted Kennedy double as a bartender in the main lounge?
And Rep Barney Franks is the Social Director?
I'll send in a few bucks for their cab fare from the airport to the docks. _________________ Your suffering will be legendary, even in hell.

Actually Ted Kennedy can substitute as the captain. He has great skills behind the wheel. _________________ Yes, I'm still around

bon voyage! Enjoy Afghanistan where you can't do 10% of what you can here. It'll "take a village" because that is what is there...a village. Who's gonna give you the high speed internet btw? I guess "roughing it" is 56K. Oh, there's no bottled water btw. Enjoy the same water supply for drinking that is a urnial. Either way, you won't be welcome in that part of the world.
idealistic college liberals...tee hee hee
Think it's bad now? Wait until when you are more worried about feeding your family, paying the mortgage, paying for the mini-van, paying for school, hoping you don't have to send your kid to daycare, an attack from someone from a crazed foreign country, and working 40+ hours a week. _________________ Yes, I'm still around

Frag, how little you know me!
I've been out of college for quite a while now. You know...morgage, car payments, working at least 40 hours a week....same as you or anyone else. Hell, I didn't even bother with the degree.....
Anyway, yes I appreciate the freedoms we have here in America. I just don't think we owe any of them to Bush or his Warhawk administration. I think many people are eager to believe the anti-Iraq propaganda we hear from Bush. That doesn't make us any more intellegent then the people who believed in the Iraqi Information Minister (your buddy ).
In fact, I'm pretty pissed at the whole war. We killed innocent citizens, ruined a decent infostructure, caused choas, and didn't find these alledged chemical weapons that we were supposed to fear. And what do we gain? A 75$ billion war deficeit. Just what I want to hear at tax time....
So, maybe I'm unAmerican for disagreeing.....whatever.

Twisted.
I fully support your right to your opinion on the war. Please understand that Sadam and his minions are the real evil ones in this war. He and his regime have killed or maimed some 500,000 people since 1991. They have used schools, churches, and hospitals to house soldiers and weapons systems. Only cowards hide the military in these types on buildings.
Did you by chance read the article from CNN in the papers yesterday?
http://www.nytimes.com/2003/04/11/opinion/11JORD.html
It describes the things they could not put on the air while Sadam was in power. They were fearful for the safety of the Iraqui employes if they aired the reports of torture etc.
In one case a young girl was imprisoned and repeatedly beaten until one day they just broke open her skull pulled out her brains then sent her body back to her family in a plastic garbage bag dumped on the front porch.
This government needed to be removed.
I have many Iraqi friends and co workers, and they have told me many horror stories of what has gone on there for the last 30 years. _________________

Sorry Twisted, but civilian casulties, friendly fire and the like have happened in every war. And while we havn't found chemical weapons, we have found a couple of nasty chemicals (just not in weapon form). Such as one that will cut off your nervous system. You can't feel anything, and you end up suffocating. There's another one that makes your diaphram spaz out for awhile, until it is too tired to pump anymore. Then you suffocate. We have also found a couple of illegal weapons over there. And look at what this war's done around the world as well. It shows that the French and Russians are pretty much traitors, it's showed how much the UN needs to get it's act together (waiting to strike wouldn't have done anything at all).
One of the best quotes I've ever heard, was that "Freedom is not free". we have obtained all of our freedoms through wars. If you look back, many people in America protested those wars, yet in the end, we always seem to come out a little better off. Saddam needs to be taken out of power. He hasn't been trying to conquer all the land around him in a frenzy, but the way he's killing his own people is just as bad as Hitler killing the Jews.
I don't mind war protestors. I might be one in the future sometime. But what I really hate, are people that not only break admendments to get their point across, but then also don't have a clue as to what is REALLY happening (not you Twist, just saying some of the general people). Some people have made some good points as why not to go to war, but a lot of others just sit there so they can be on TV. _________________
