Ah Wheat Toast, Loads of butter, I mean saturate the MOFO. and some Grape Jelly. English muffins are ok from time to time. Then add some very salty crispy bacon. hhhhhmmmmm I am getting hungry. |

I am a redneck, southern, backwoods boy and I KNOW toast! The best toast is had with a liberal smearing of Kentucky Jelly on it.
MmmmmmMmmmmmmmm...good old Kentucky Jelly is about the best I ever had. Just get your own and try it sometime. Almost any Wal-Mart or Wal-Greens stores carry it. Just look for the KY Jelly (Kentucky Jelly).

Thom's Welsh rarebit variant:
Top toast with butter, cinnamon, and plenty of raisins (I like raisins). Cover with a slice of cheese. Cook in toaster oven until cheese starts to get a little brown and crusty at the edges. Eat with fork. Yummy!

ROOF, Swiss might be a bit mild for it. I like to use something pretty strong to contrast the sweetness of the raisins. A sharp cheddar or Monterey Jack gives you a nice sweet/sour flavor.
