Yea, technical support working properly is like microsoft making a bug-free un-hacked piece of software... Its never going to happen.

It has something todo with the agp driver I have updated it to several different drivers but nothing seems to work.

It loads all the way untill it starts to load windows. I wached to see what happens when I have the ATI 7200 in and start up in safe mode and it loads about 50 drivers than when I have the ATI 9600 in. I think thats where the problem is for some reason it is causing a conflict and won't let all the drivers load.

I also tried to enable the onboard AGP and it says it can't find enough resources so that might be it as well there are not enough resouces left and I have no Idea how to change thoughs.

That was the exact same error I got when I first installed my 9600xt. The only way to solve it and the only way for many others to solve it was to re-install XP. If you are going to upgrade, you will be doing that anyways. Pain in the ass, I know. I have a VIA chipset, not SIS. So, I am not sure if this will work for you. It is worth a shot. Just load the video driver and see if it boots up after the fresh install. If it doesn't, go no further. If you bought an ATI brand card, do not use the drivers on the disk they gave you. Grab the new Catalyst drivers from the site. I personally use the Omega drivers. They seem to have a bit more performance.

Well Microsoft isn't the only software maker that has bugs in their software, and Microsoft will never make an unhacked piece of software...in fact no one will

So enough with the bashing of Microsoft, I tried the latest version of Mandrake Linux (OK ill admit, its a newbie version of Linux) and it had plenty o' bugs, so GJ to open source...

I was thinking of getting this card But it is the 256meg model temporarely untill I can get MY new cpu together I went shopping around today and I'm debating a amd 64 3400 or a p4 3.2 so I'm going all the way this time . By what I am hearing the AMD 64 is out doing the P4 on gaming but the P4 is all around better system and all it's going to be for is gaming and I have this one to do what ever else I want to do. I lost my paper with all the list of parts so when I find it I will post it up see what everyone thinks. Anyways here's the link to the card but the one i'm looking at is a 256 meg model.

He already said no safe mode, and its an AGP card and the mobo should only have one AGP slot.

Here is a link to an overclocking utility. It is called Rivatuner. Don't blow your card up. http://majorgeeks.com/download737.html Other than that, set vsync to always off, maybe scale back the visual settings. Not sure if the pci bus could be a little bottleneck compared to the agp.
