My friend's dad recently bought 3D Sudio Max 5.0 - hes doing gfdesign for a company but he needed it at home cuase he can't use the one his company owns. They already had 3DSM 4 but they didn't need it anymore so they gave it to me for free! Its amazing! Soo much fun! Really Really POWERFUL! ill post up a pic of a tea pot that Im making right now

if you get around to modeling a house i have textures you can use. all layered and alpha mapped...yeah...

man, i don't think i've had to buy software, i got Photo Shop 7.0, Premiere, and some other things from either Kazaa or friends (who probably got it from the net also)

. I just need to get the authorization code for it - my friend's doesn't work! He also said he would give me Character Studio for $50 is it worth it?

if you are serious about making characters move, yeah go for Character studio. it's a awesome tool for animating characters

yeah yeah you can go for acquired software, but if you go for commercial or have your 'small business' checked, you can get F*ed good. If its not commercial i dont care, but if you're makin money, get the real stuff.
