Ono-Ono means good in Hawaii.

Subject: Ono-Ono Brownies


4 square unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup broken walnuts
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Remove from heat. Add sugar,
eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in walnuts. Mix and sift flour and
salt; add gradually, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch
square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Cool thoroughly
before cutting in squares.

nuts ruin the cocoa destiny.... but they might be pretty good without them.

Couldn't agree more. I like nuts, just not in baked goods. I eat all female foods..... NO NUTS.

ain't that a mistake? I dont know an oven who can get to that temp. And if you bake something for 40-50 minutes in such a heat you will become something black that tastes like ashes.

eh? My oven goes over 350. All ovens go over 350 man, what are j00 talking aboot! 40 minutes does sound a bit long for brownies though. I doubt I could wait that long without a morsel!
