I want to hear what you guys think the best SNES game of all time is. I would have to say it is a tie between Earthbound and Super Metroid. I love them both and have beaten them multiple times. They are great and i recommend (since snes games are so cheap right now and probably will be forever) that you buy it.

jack

ps. post your games here

SNES, eh?

Well, I dearly love Mario RPG... it was the first rpg i ever played, back as a child, that led me to like more *cough* real ones.
Um.. also, Chrono Trigger. .. which, I only ever played on an emulator, but this is hardly the point.
Yoshi's island was also quite l33t (and so much better than its sequel...)

OH!!! OH OH OH I KNOW!!!!!

I just though of THE BEST SNES GAME EVER!

Which, I doubt anyone else has even heard of.

Battle Cars.

This game kept me and a friend amused for YEARS. And just a while ago I finally went out and bought a used copy of it again. It is, quite simply the best racing game ever. And the best snes game ever. And the best anything else ever.

Why? Because it just is, dammit! I can't explain it.

SNES had a great Zelda game, whatever it was called. Link to the Past? I must have played that thing front-to-back about 20 times. Probably my favorite console game ever.

Super Punch Out, Super Castlevania, and Mario Kart are some other "must haves".

FF3, Mario World, Yoshi's Island kicked @$$!!

But the best was...

DONKEY KONG Country 2! Took me and my friend like so freaking long to beat the whole thing and secret worlds.
