Poll: Would you relocate to another city?

Some people live in the same town, but have left their families. Others never leave their families, no matter how many miles separate them.

Parents know, you're kids gotta grow. Friends will understand or they're not really friends.

Besides, if you move to Vegas, most of them will want to visit

I moved away from all my friends and family a little more than two years ago. That is when I moved to Austin...the closest any of them are is about 6 hours away.

I moved here as I had a job lined up, so that made it easier. I also had the experience of being away while in college. I still make it back to my hometown when I can, plus my family and friends come down here sometimes and stay at my apartment.

While in Austin, I have met the most wonderful woman too, so it has worked out very well for me.

I had it easier in that I had a job all lined up when I got here.

That's how I ended up in NYC. Didn't know anyone but opportunity presented itself and I took it. I still go to DC a couple times a month to hang out with the guys but it's worked pretty for me.
