"Console" commands

can someone give me a list of console commands........... ie buildspecial.

Listen u only need one command which will work for every single special in neotf here

it is _special2 if u wanna bind it go

bind x "_special2"

i have a question about the console. I had a friend over, and he changed one of the keys to the tilde button, i.e. the default console command. Is there anyway to restore the console button without reinstalling the game and patches? reseting the default keys button under controls does not work. Thanks for any help.

Ok, here's a list of stuffs

for health, pres %h
armor: %a
last seen: %i i think
class: %c

airstrike: airstrike
radar: radar
mgs and boxes: _special2

to easily enable console, go to your cstrike/half life/tfc icon on the desktop, right click, choose properties, and where it says target, just add " -console" to the current line without quotes. (yes, this means that you put a space between -console and whatever's in the target area)

thanks for the help. Very annoying that i couldn't hotkey anything and stuff like that. Just tried it, does the -console have to be at the end? in the target area the -console is already there, although it is in the middle.

The order of your command line entries does not matter. So no, -console does not need to be at then of the list.

What you need to do is to actually open your config.cfg file and manually insert the line

bind "~" "toggleconsole"

Your config.cfg file can be found in your Half-Life/tfc directory. You will have to open and edit it in Notepad.

About the config.cfg file, mine seems to be missing. I have been fooling around with files lately, and I think it may have been deleted. I can still play online no problem, but when I try to create a game so that I can play around by myself on a new custom map I have downloaded, it says it can't find the config.cfg file. I assumed that it would be needed to play at all times, but I can still play online. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Also, when I try to install a bot that I downloaded, it says tfc is not installed. What does this mean? Do I have to do a special installation of tfc before I can install the bots?

The ~ key is uppercase I bind ` key to console. In my config. they are both bound.

Yeah ROOF you're right they are both binded.

Monk, try reconfiguring your keys in the TFC configuration menus. That should reset/re-create your config file.

But then if you didnt have config.cfg at all, all your keys would be unbound, and you couldnt play (I think).

yet again, my console still does not work. Should i just reinstall? I'm adding both ` and ~ to the bound list as toggle console.
