Hmm . . . don't mind if I do, TYO.
AC/DC = They recorded "Big Balls". That's good enough for me.
Clash = This troubles me. If they can get in, it opens the door for other really ugly British bands. Like Radiohead.
Police = This band only contains one guy with a fake single-word name, so at least they are a little better than U2. And on the same level as Guns 'n Roses.
Elvis Costello = How does he make any money anyway? The only people who listen to him are music critics, and they get comp CDs.
Righteous Brothers = Wanna take bets on which one was the "bottom"? _________________ I'm not internationally known, but I'm known to rock the microphone. |

I agree Robert "Ronnie Vanzant" would be proud! Hell, maybe if the group was inducted it would finally draw old Leon Wilkeson out of his drunk induced coma and rejoin the remaining members
I saw Skynard twice. My favorite band next to The Allman Brothers & Marshall Tucker. _________________ http://www.nosmacktards.com |

I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon.. Leon's dead.. He died on July 27th, 2001, and he's always been with the band up till his death. _________________

Alright, I'm not saying that the band of Police is worthy, but Sting by himself is a great musician. He deserves it as much as AC/DC and Skynard.
When are the backside boys going to nominated? _________________

Skynyrd definitely deserves a spot. They also continue to overlook the enormous influence of Black Sabbath. That's a crime.
To the Hall's credit, they have thus far avoided the "VH1 disease", which causes rock journalists to bust a nut at any mention of Nirvana. _________________ I'm not internationally known, but I'm known to rock the microphone. |

I would go as far to say that the Police are nowhere near as good as U2 or even close to G'N'R _________________ Killing is my bidness ladies and BIDNESS IS GOOD!!!! |

Well, I say we need o pay tribute to the Canadian band that has brought so much into the world of music. RUSH, should be in there.
And if you put The Clash in the RRHOF, you might as well nominate the Sex Pistols with Johnny Rotten _________________
