I don't know if there was some discussions I didn't see or what but...
WHY IS ACROPOLIS 2 NO LONGER ON ANY SERVER MAP ROTATION?
I always have most fun on Acropolis2, I really like this map and I wonder why it was removed from ALL servers map rotations... Was there some specific complaints formulated?
Thanks a lot for giving me a wonderful place to play TFC,

| Personaly i like the map but since it is a custom map it tends to kill hte servers at night |

It was taken out of TV2 for a shakeup to the rotation, but it is still available for vote.

Please put Acrop2 back on TVIII. I have no idea what you mean about killing the server at night. That thing was always packed!

I just played it on TV3.
AcropII is the most offense-minded map I know on any Ville servers and it should stay there

It may be a custom map, but you can't consider yourself a true Villun if you don't have it and play it regularly!

  i love that map
well i dont mean to p*ss ppl off in game on tv2.... but when i come on... im gonna be startin a vote for it everytime.
P.S. i neva start votes like that till about 10 mins remainin. ppl that try and change the map at the start of a map... are so selfish... as others enjoy playin it. so dont worry about me doin that. but about 10 mins from the end of tha map.. ill be puttin up acrop on vote. 
i still cant believe is not on any of the servers though ... hopefully it will be reintegrated into a rotation when munkey gets tv4 back.... i cant wait... tha ville is definatly on the up

i enjoy that map also on Acropolis 2!! and i have had many fun times on the map and it
i am missing some of the other custom maps like shortbus2 and osaka.. i also miss playing some of my maps from vegastfc like sniperwell_2, dolcevita, high_flag.. but will look forward to having fun and frags with you all!! And hope that acropolis 2 can still be voted into the map rotation |

It is still on TV3 but it does kill the server late at night when a number of potential future villans are playing. Just last night the map came on and we had 4 people playing and 16 waiting to download....SOME of you were regulars here so that makes me sad that you haven't downloaded it yet
As the map loaders gave up and left and a few regs joined it turned into a 4 vs 4 by the end of the map where it had been 10 vs 10 the previous map. I really like the map, but completely agree with it becoming a vote only map on TV2. |

Sorry, but I completly disagree about that. I don't care if they are potential villuns. IMO, if they are too lazy to download the map, well too bad for them. It's not like it is hard to find, it is HERE on the same webpage that they would have to go if they wanted to be new villuns. Moreover, I don't see why it is bad to have it on only ONE server, I do not think this would repel "potential" viluns which have still THREE other servers to play w/o that "evil" Acropolis map.
As I mentioned often here, IMO ppl who takes the time to download a map are more quality players, and I prefer to play with quality players

Maybe everyone that likes Acrop2 plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For the past couple of months, I have been playing pretty regularly those nights at 8PST. There have been a number of times that I have had to work the refresh button for TVIII because Acrop2 was full. There I am, Jonesin for my Acrop fix, and people won't get off the damn server! Argh, I'm startin to get the twitches now....
Of course, my evidence is very subjective, and your argument is based on one data point on a server that has only been back for a few days, so we aren't really arguing from positions of strength.
But here's another anecdote which supports leaving Acrop2 on a server: When I first started coming to The Ville, I came for Avanti, then I fell in love with epicenter. I started playing TV IV a lot. At the time, Osaka was in the rotation. I liked the server and people enough that I went to the Ville website. I found out I needed to d-load the map to play. I did that, and Osaka became one of my favorite maps. So for me at least, the custom map wasn't a deterrent, and once I had Osaka, The Ville was the only place I would play.
So what's my point? - I want TV IV back! Seriously though, I don't think that custom maps are really a deterrent to future Villuns.

I think some of those who never downloaded the map yet either 1 doesn't know how to download or install a custom map or two doesn't want to wait for it to complete. Most of the time it is both so go figure
