Just looking for YOUR input to two general questions.

1: Are there any improvements that we can all make to make our home of the ville even more enjoyable? Be it on the servers or in the forums.

2: Is there something that we should not be doing?

All suggestions are welcome but please don't make suggestions that are unconstructive. This thread is to IMPROVE, if possible, what we already have

I think the admins should share their beer and porn.

And I think we should have Friday Night 10 minutes in the closet with Sully's goat events.

But I could be way off base here.

Hell yeah! How about playing on TheVille.org I for starters. There is never anybody on it anymore. WTF! It used to be nearly impossible to get into a game there, but now nobody goes there because playing by yourself is boring. It's about time we started using our classic Avanti server again.

a while back there was a suggestion of trianing for certain skills? now is that gonna happen or what?? i think a weekly thing for whatever skill u wanna learn should be placed out for the week? i seen lots of hints in john does tip section? is there something that can be done on these training tips?

what would go on for these and how would they work out with all the villuns?

Oh yeah... we were on there the other night... about 6 to 8 of us... started with like 3 or 4... well, okay, I am sure it started with 1... but anyway... we were playing random... it was a blast! And yes it is true... I suck at all classes... equally.

The ping was nice, too... so yeah... it would be nice if more people visited 1.

i think an actuall trainin time.. or somthin would be a great idea. but i personally have found that when i mentioned that i was and am learnin shotty. all the ppl i normally end up playin with in game and alot of others have helped me out, just cos they wanted to. givin me tips and trainin me up.

which i think is brill. this is why i love the ville so much. without even askin for help in game ppl have given up there fraggin time to go 1 v 1 shotty with me and given me tips.

Gala, we have discussed this in US-V and we are going to make it a reality. The training idea was very well received and I do believe it is a great way to support new players and teach old dogs new tricks. Either way, giving TheVille and TFC even more depth. The details are still being ironed out but soon, we will have a complete plan to slap down for ya!

What can we all do. . . .

Hell. . . just be cool. Have fun in a game here. Not just "your" fun, but a shared fun. We have a few rules here. That's it. This place is more open than many realize. Have fun and hang out with your friends.

You want to hear something that literally astonishes me? I can not remember the last time a Llama ruined my game here. Is that not the coolest damn thing? I am amazed. This place friggin rocks and I am grateful for every second I get to spend here.

When people think I'm cheating it just makes me laugh. Not only does it make me laugh but I feel well complimented. Anyway, well as far as the new comers go I don't think we should call them n00bs imho. We should classify them in a different term or use different terminology like new villuns or something of that nature. Being called a n00b is no fun, especially if you just come to theville and already been pointed out as one. First impression counts imho and calling a "newcomer" a n00b is bad manners in thevilles house

I am all for "new comers" and I like to meet new people and stuff. I guess I'm a friendly dude but if you just talk to me, or joke around with me once in awhile I won't bite. I think a lot of people are shy these days and need to come out of the friggin closet

Anywayz, back to teh point hehe. I agree with the first point darkath wrote. People who ask "where do I take the flag" or "how do I build a sentry gun" are those who are "new" to the game. Just tell them nicely and that's it. And when you go pubbing and you have a GG with someone you like, invite him/her to theville. Tell them that theville rocks and that's the friggin place to be. Tell them,"Hey look man I'm going to save you from this hell hole and take you to my home where you belong and taht's theville!" LoL

I remember when I used to pub I invited/told my TFC friends to play here. Inviting your friends to play here along with other pubbers is a great idea. Heck I remember when I saw KoOkie, aka as <TVB>KoOkie to come play here and now she loves it. I told my sister Swift, aka <TVB>Swift to come play here and now look at her she loves it as well.

But as far as the servers go, I think the reason why it was empty was because we used to have only one server up. People probably didn't know about our forums, instead they must have saved the ip. So they probably erased it and just went on looking for other places to pub on. Advertising our forums, merchandise and servers more will catch people to look at our direction. In order for people to know that we exist, we need to convey to them that we exist. I mean we have so many regulars now it is crazy. How about we start getting some new people around here I'm all for it. New people like...um...CHICKS!!! Friggin we need to go to that GIRL POWER server and hunt down some friggin TFC chicks!!! Woot!!! Good stuff.

Oh and another thing that will entice people to come play here is a NEO server. I know it bugs some people but I am all for NEO it is different. Avantiville, a well rotated map server and NEO will probably bring in more people. Remember when we had NEO? One neo server brought in tons of folks to theville and most turned into regs and still play here today. I know it may attract llamas but hey people are just trying to have fun and mess around. A lot of kids love to play NEO because it is different from the tired ol' TFC sentry gun. Not only that but HW's get this cool looking claw that will allow them to stick on walls. Pyros/Snipers/Soldiers and all the other classes get to upgrades mgs. Those are fun man and I remember the good old times when we played on Crossover2 and we built so many sgs/mgs on the bridge LoL. I forgot that spy upgrade? Oh yea the Telsa Coil now that upgrade rocks man. Can you smell burnt hair? Zap Zap your friggin' @ss including the nme spies that go near that thing or try to grab teh flag. LoL, ahhh good times. I mean if we have at least 1 NEO server it will be sufficient. And if they can't play on the NEO server they have the others to play on. Good stuff.

Oh and another thing...LoL...I have so many things to say it is crazy. Oh man I'm killin' myself here I'm like crying. Newayz, I think theville themes are a good idea as well. I remember when I first came here and I saw that banner ad on avantiville and it said," welcome to theville" I was like holy crap that is friggin cool! Every now and then I see a newcomer looking up at that thing and trying to shoot it it makes me laugh. I think if we spice up our regular maps with some nice theme stuff it would be cool and different. Like on avanti we play in the beating sun instead of playing at night with nice palm trees at the General watching over the respawn spammers and so on was different. Stuff like that is a good idea to spice up theville maps imho.

Oh and another thing omg!!! Waves man!!! You know how Rob has that cool SuperGreg number 1 wav. I think if we add some more waves it would be funny. Good stuff.

I agree with everything you ppl said, especially the n00b thing, the first time i played here, i was a n00b, a bad one too. Then BRN said one of his hilarious binds, and i thought he was making fun of me. Then he told me that it's just something he says to everyone, it's called a "bind." i was amazed especially when TV3 was neo, i loved it here. been here ever since. i also told me friends about it. (JuVaNiLe and Black Knight) they love it here too.

I wish one of the servers went back to neo again, it would be kind of fun to see new things, but i still love the old playing style.
