This pops up every time I do anything here. Whenever I advance or go back in anything, this window pops up.

If it's just a standard Ville pop-up, that's cool. I just want to know if I am the only one seeing it. Links I will click, but I won't d-load anything like a flash player I do not need. Just wondering.

				| Yeah, I am getting it. But not every page I visit here at The Ville. The way it acts it is something that is embedded in one of the banner ads--i.e. a banner ad has a Flash 6 portion and it asks to DL the player for it.
I also will not DL something that I don't need, nor something that I have not investigated thoroughly.

				| Download it and be done with it - Flash is probably as necessary a tool on the web as you will ever meet. I am surprised you have not seen it sooner - maybe you do not visit many sites with flash content.
Here are a few to show you what flash can do for a site :-

http://www.eye4u.com Slick on "Showroom" then look at the Ford site

http://www.federicafontana.it/index3.html Some adult content - yet tasteful and probably the best interface for a site I have ever seen.

Oh - and a further hint - when viewing a cool site, for best effect, (using IE), hit F11 to hide explorer toolbars, and right click on the remaining bar to select auto-hide.
Hit F11 to bring it all back.

				| Thx Axa, but I've never had any problems viewing flash of any kind. I'm in the process of cleaning out many unnecessary programs and tid bits I have d-loaded over the past few months so I'll skip this until I am positive I need it. I certainly don't want it it just to view a banner. I was just wondering why it kept constantly coming up and now I know. Thx _________________

				| WOW! Holy crap AXA that flash site kicks ass mucho grande! That is some really nice layout and design and idea. and since it's flash their work is safe from being stolen by downloading them. Very nice site, gave me lots of ideas and inspiration. And the guy is a good photographer too.
Oh BTW, you should download Flash 6 player if you don't have it. Like AXA said, it is necissary on the web nowdays, just as necissary as java, just get it, it's from macromedia, they aren't going to spam your computer with extra crap, its just to see the newest versions of flash since they released Flash MX and people are usuing it more to design things.

				| The current banner ads use the newest version from macromedia so it will ask for download. It is a good idea to get it since it is used all over the web.

				| I've never seen it, however I do run the latest version of macromedia so that could be why. _________________

				| I never get any popups or that request to DL flash 6 on here or elsewhere....
...course that could be because I have Flash MX, latest players, and NoPoP(popup killer)

				| I get it everytime too KRG - when I am checking the forums from work.
I can't dl anything onto my work computer, so I have to go through MIS. With all the other issues, I'm sure the latest flash plug-in is not going to be high on their priority

 So, its click, click, click....
