It's time for another installment of KRG's map of the month!

The Halloween map is a great map but this one stole the show for me. All I can say is WOW!

- the pictures are low resolution so they are easier to d-load - to truly get a feel for the quality of this map, you'll have to d-load it! -

Pharaohs CTF

Simply amazing. The sounds, textures, art, and attention to detail go way beyond any map I have ever seen in TFC. Period. The map seems huge until you start exploring. Both bases are identical and the entire map is about the size of Well. There are plenty of hallways and corridors for close combat. There are also many open areas that can be tough to defend. There is something for every class in this map. If you can take your eye off the artwork long enough to go get the enemy flag, you have a tough road ahead of you to cap it! I highly recommend giving this map a try. Simply amazing.

Objective: Retrieve enemy Pharaohs flag and
capture it by returning it to your battlements.

Scoring: 10 points per Capture.

Other Notes: Flag carriers drop the flag when
they die. Dropped flags return to their Base
after 60 seconds.

You can find this map here : JMC's Map Zone - It's over 6 megs but well worth the time.

Osiris, you betta be the first to d-load this one!

Enjoy!

KRG ROxO|2Z!

Thanks for showing us this map. I just loaded it on a LAN game and was completely amazed at the textures and the sounds, especially the flag cap tune, it was really chilling.

I thought it was perfect timing with you posting this review because tonight I am gonna watch The Scorpion King (I love Egyptian History even if is hollywood embellishment) And then we need to talk AG into putting it on the private server for a TVB review very soon...

What say we Call it "KRG's Custom Map Testing Nite"?

The only thing i didint like bout this map is that it is a orginal CTF, meanin if you happen to go inside respawn with the flag it returns into eme base! or if you drop flag it returns when athe eme touchs it. The texture are stunning but i wonder what kind of R_speeds this is runnin

If anyone has any problems d-loading or installing this map or any map, you can PM or ICQ me and I can walk you through it.

It's simple once you learn the folders.

I'm ready whenever you are JCOM!

That would be "Pharaoh's Curse". This map is called "Pharaohs" not "Pharaohs Curse", they are two seperate maps all together. This map is much more recent than "Pharaohs Curse". I went and checked that one out and I agree with you on that.

Thx for the link Blue. Not sure why it doesn't come up in the map search. I fixed my link as well, you just have to scan down to find it.

Thx again.

Sometimes I wonder if it could be a habit to make a FNF on a new map like that. I remember Wrath was done as FNF once and it was fun.

This would shake the laziness and force ppl to dl it

Sometimes think that it would be nice to have assorted maps like this in bi-weekly rotations.
