why aliasing?

I only alias under one occasion, if one of my n00b friends come over and try and play, it's just pathetic how they play. But i was that way once before, and i haven't improved much, hehe. usually my alias is "JuVaNiLe'S MoM" that's usually it, lol.

i never use aliases.

i enjoy c'in familiar names n stuff so some times i ask myself the same question.. why do ppl alias.

i only ever aliased once n i was found out straight away... duno how... but there ya go... lol... them hints.. lol... like ya should get ta bed... lol

While I can understand the "want" to alias, I do not see how constantly aliased admins help on a server. Now, I am not saying it renders you useless, I am just saying, what is the point of an admin being on a server if no one knows they are there? I favor armed guards over entrapment.

Rather than trying to "catch" people screwing up, doesn't it make more sense to make your appearance known so the Llama activity is less likely to happen at all?

I know sometimes it is needed to snag an individual who only acts up when an admin is not around. But 2 or 3 aliased admins on a server just doesn't make much sense.

I myself have left servers to fetch admins only to find out there was one on the server already under an alias. If I don't see an admin in the room, I am not going to ask, "is there an admin in here".

That being said, I totally respect any admin for putting in their time to keep this a better place to play. I was just wondering about it.
