I have been starting to think about playing many other games online. I was wondering if anyone was interested in playing a few games of diablo once in a while? I may move on to other games later, but for now, I would like to start with diablo(no not diablo 2).

Jedi Knight II online multiplayer is really fun. I usually play in a dual server (free for all is fun, but it takes no skill to be good at) cuz its a lil more challenging. Make sure you play in a server with no force because people are ghey and whore their force powers.

hey Borg if u ever want to play any blizzard game asside from diablo (origonal) and war1 or 2 feel free to ask me o i forgets war 1 was made before battle.net existed

Jk, but lemme tell you one thing: DO NOT BUY/PLAY DIABLO II. EVER. I have it, and though it's addicting for a month or so, it gets boring with all the limitless possibilities (I'll trade you 9 perfect skulls for your +4 amazon skills, 20% cold resistance, +30% Magic Find Ability, +10% inhanced speed, +120% damage, +10 STR +20 DEX + 9 MANA, etc, etc, etc)
Jedi Knight II MP also gets boring after a while. After you learn the basic tricks (Grip/Push off the ledge, lightsaber combos, Absorb manuevers, etc) there's nothing to it except being careful and mindless slashing.
Your best bet is to get one of the next-gen games comin' out soon- Star Wars Galaxies, Unreal Tournament 2003, or Halo for PC.
But just you wait! For, sometime in the next millenia, TEAM FORTRESS TWO IS COMING OUT! WITH DOOM 3!!!! AND BLACK AND WHITE TWO! AND HOMEWORLD TWO! AND THE OFFICIAL DAY OF DEFEAT MOD FROM VALVE!!!!!!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I play JKII also. Dark is right play on a server with no force powers. The lightsaber only battles rewl.

I guess I should have phrased the question a little differently. I am looking to see if there was anyone who would be willing to play games. Some of the games I was thinking about were:
TF(the original team fortress)
Diablo
Warcraft II
*add* Starcraft */add*
Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Dune 2000
I think that is all I have for online games. The rest of the gaems I have are just single player.

Whoa, original Diablo. I have it, but don't think I'd go back to playing it, unless it was maybe a "hardcore, let's see how far we can go before being killed" game. That game was the worst ever for cheaters/hackers. The only games of that sort that I'll play from now on are hosted by some "secure" server, even if it's not 100% secure, at least they try to get rid of the CHEETURZ!
Star Craft is a good one, and I've thought about getting a "legitimate backup copy" of C&C red alert... In a couple months when I move from my current 2 jobs & class schedule back to just one job, I'll let ya know if I get it.

That's funny, the huge variety of possible playing styles makes the game not boring, for me at least  |

Does anyone play battlefield 1942? Killer and I have been playing with the demo and it seems like a great team player format. with the ability to fly and drive many different vehicles and shoot BIG guns...it maybe the game of the future.

Well, B1942 seems to fall into that whole "CounterStrike" category of great multiplayer games...when you can find them. Too many John Waynes in those types of games for me. I don't want forced cooperation, but a little logic for logic's sake, please
Myself, my new addiction is Anarchy Online That's pretty dang fun
