Anyone else have problems with pop up crashes?

Hey, I've had to restart my comp a bunch after I come here lately. There is one pop-up that won't go away, I try to end task, but my comp just locks up. I don't mind restarting(takes like 10 seconds), but I want to make sure It's not just me having problems before I install a different OS. Any ideas? Snagg

They close for me but sometimesI have to restart my computer.Today I kept getting you are flooding,stop and I could not join either team.Sweetsensi had the same problem if anyone knows what it means.

I havent had problems with that but these new commands that are being run when i join a game seem to be causing me some serious lag problems i wonder what they do and when they will be gone so i can play again

The only time I have a problem is when I'm typing and get interrupted by those freakin things...

I with Snaggletooth, I have trouble closing one of the IE windows. I also seem to have other problems after all the pop-ups.

If you get stuck click on the main ville button on your start bar and that should unfreeze you. Then you can turn them off. I hope this will work for you also.

If you let them fully load then click them off letting the spawn ones load too before clicking them off you should not have any lock up problems. I have found that closing them willy-nilly causes problems.

When playing or posting I turn them off after the initial load up but when my computer is idle I let them run to earn big bucks for the Ville.

Of course this is what I have found to work your milage will vary.

Just right click them on the task bar and choose close..

I have been having problems with the servers this week too. I can't seem to join any of them. I join a team and then just sit up in the sky somewhere watching the game, but I can't do anything or see chat. I have had the message "You are flooding. Please stop" come up on my screen too. This is really ing me off since I love no stats week, and I have only been able to play once.

There does seem to be something wrong, I too was getting you are flooding,stop on TVIII, when a new game started, all you do is just float. From Las Vegas, I have been having a problem with the pings on TVI & TVII for 2 1/2 weeks now; it only clears up at like after 12am, but the others seem to be fine. When I was having this flooding issue, my trace was good and ping of only 145, so it couldnt be that. I was not able to log onto TVIV at all last night and had to play somewhere else...

When I join a game, usually after the map changes, I too will be floating above the map and it wont let me chose a class or join the map. What I do and it works for me is bring down the console and type "retry" without the quotes. Sometimes I have to do it 3 or 4 times but I eventually get into the map with no further problems. Your milage may vary as well.
