It means you got in their way 50 times... you weakened them for someone else to finish them off. You were a speed bump... you slowed 'em down temporarily 'cause they had to stop and deal with you... that is a good thing!

Borg, I've gotten -9 and 100 in league matches before. (In ones we won no less, it would have been more like 4 and 100 if we didn't screw around in respawn in prematch though.) We still won. Score means Nothing. Nothing! So long as you are doing something, anything, for the greater goal of your team (Moving the flag or holding yours), then you are doing good. Even if that means you are only playing hw and standing on the flag so they can't get it, or camping at the top of an elevator or something of the sort.

Even with a cable connection, I still prefer the charge in - mandatory suicide - scouting patrol! Sure the nme laughs at you when you run into their base with your limbs flailing around screaming, MEDIC! But, when my team can come in and take down the nme defense like they had a blueprint of it, it makes it all worth while!

Throw the grenade. . not the flag! Man, I hate it when that happens! Of course, it kinda works. . .in a fight, when you throw the flag at your opponent, the tend to freeze and take a moment to ponder just what in the world you are doing! lol

We'll get together and do some silly stuff again Borgy. You have silly down pat and I always enjoy your attitude in game.

sodum is exactly right. The deaths dont matter, Borg, even 3 months after I started playing I was getting like 25 and 78, or 4 and 60. It means nothing, remember what -TPF- means. The score doesn't matter, no matter how many times you have died, u have done SOME good. U have either wasted the enemies ammo, or were a human road block, or weakened someone substantially. Dont let the game get ya down, its justt a game after all. Try going to a different server and smashing the populace, trust me it makes u feel better. I can suggest a good one to yaz if u need it

Anyhow, thats it for me, just remember what TPF means. Everything will work out borg.

i feel like a better player after readin all this "inspiration" because it is all so true, sooo very true. Hey SoDum does doing anything for the team include chasing and potshooting? lol, cause i have a probelm with doing those too. i see nothing wrong with it, just helps the team. but thats a whole other discussion. Score doesn't always matter in this game unless its team score. so long as you help someone to cap that flag/point/key then tis all part of a greater good of the team
