I was trying to order some mousepads and it wouldn't work. When I click on the mousepad it never loads the purchasing page, I just get text at the top. I tried a lot of the other items too, none of the purchasing pages load.

Do Ville mousepads work well with optical mice?? Most mousepads don't, and they cause the mouse to jitter. The only thing i've found to work is a piece of regular printer paper (which is what i use right now). If they work well with optical mice, I'll make sure to buy one.

i have an optical mouse and the best underground for the optical mouse is the would of your desk. I don't use any sort of pad under my mouse because most of them don't work and the wood of the desk doesn't give me any problems at all.

So i say no pads

I do use a mouse pad for my optical mouse so I don't damage my desk. Seems to work just fine for me. I get no jittering.
