What command do I add to my TFC shortcut that will make it run in a Window instead of Full Screen? _________________

Damn, I used to have all those commands on a website. I've lost the link to it. Sorry Nanite, I'm not sure what that command is. I can't remember. I will keep an eye on this post for the answer though. _________________

Hmm...okay I tried it and my office machine can't handle runnign in the window. Just one problem. I removed the command from teh shortcut but the damn thing still starts in a window and is laggy as hell. How do I get it back to "normal?" _________________

Here it is, the fix. You need to modify two registry values.
HKCU\Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings
EngineAllowWindowed and EngineModeWindowed
Both of those values should be set to
0 for full screen
1 for windowed _________________

Could be Win98 SE here. My PC is too old and too slow for WIN2K. _________________

Have you tried disabling it from the standard TFC/Half-Life settings? Launch TFC, then go Configuration-->Video-->Video Modes. There's a checkbox at the bottom to enable/disable Run in Window. That works for me on 98SE. |
