jeese well ive had no internet to speak of since monday due to a fried modem, my cable company finally sent someone out yeterday (after having somone stay at home wednesday becasue they said somone would come then, but noone did), unfortunately noone told him i have 2way service, so he couldnt do anything about it becasue hes a 1way guy (rediculous if you ask me) so anohter one came out today and infally (seems fixed for now) got a new modem in and crap, but im glad to finally be online again i was starting to cry alot... ;> YAY _________________

I am still having problems with my ISP and it is pissing me off. They are doing maintenance so my internet has been down for the last FEW DAYS! ARGH! You do not know how much trouble it has caused me. I wasnt able to make it to the TVL match today because of it! (Couldnt get a notice or submit info of interest in time) |

heh...well it turns out it got fixed just in time to experience THE WORST NETWORK INSTABILITY OF ALL TIME or something, my isp is doing godknowswhat and i get disconnected every 5 minutes...AHHHRGG it nEVER ENDS!! |

At least your ISP isn't run by miserable old gits:
Moved up to uni this week, already connected at a cost of £50 for the whole year, so that's good. But get this: I can't play TFC - they've set up their firewall so that we cannot connect to other networks, or something like that. As far as I know, it wasn't like this last year (I wasn't here last year - took a year off), and I sincerely hope this isn't a permanent matter. Maybe they just got some settings wrong, or it's just until the network is fully working. Until then... pff... |
