hey guys,

I rebegan playing half-life, before i never ended the game because i got stuck on the planet xen (the other world in space, wher you need to jump from one flying platform to the other), well i'm stuck again.
I just can't figure out what i need to do there.
Some help would be welcome, so i hope one of you already passed that part or ended the game.

rite you have too jump down the platforms and theirs this central one thats huge.... have you got into their yet.????

if not... you theirs a top level to it... and underneath theirs an underhang and another level... you have to go on the underhang part... and theirs a way into the centre... find that and the rest should fall into place. if this isnt the area your stuck on and you've got further than this tell me and ill try n help

i've completed blue shift too.... now that took me no time at all... way easier than half-life if you ask me

i've got oposing force... but havent bothered playin that... i discovered tfc and havent stoped... lol

Hmm, i got stuck on Xen as well from the very beginning, never could get past that first jump, lol. But then after a few months I got bored and tried it again and eventually beat it (that last boss gets REALLY annoying)

Ok, well Im assuming you are stuck on the first jump. You have to do a long jump (since you got the long jump machine thing in the lab before you warped) To do this you have to run forward and right before you get to the edge press ctrl then space (not just space) in quick succession. You should do a really long jump by doing this; MUCH longer than just a normal jump. When you get to the second platform just wait for the moving ones to get close enough and jump from one to the other until you can reach that island in the middle.

If you need help after that then just post it up.

i can do the long jump i even got into the underlying level but i never saw that hole before. I'm gone try it wright now.

np... and if you get stuck on the boss... tell me n ill tell ya how to kill it... ... it took me a while to figure it out... ... but its easy when you know how to do it

alwright i found the hole i'm already 2 planets farther where i need to jump on a flying ship to get to the next stage.

I'll try to figure the boss out myself but if i don't find it out i'll certainly ask you bobbins, thx.

Single player Half life is worth your time. It's very good. I may bust it out and play again, since it's been several years since I played it last. None of the follow-ups have been very tough, and they didn't seem to be quite as good, but the original? HoooooooWeeeeeee!!!
