Hi All,
Went to play TFC on TV3 today and the server as well as the private server were missing from my favourites. However, when I tried to input the ip (66.136.74.252) using the add server tab, the inputed server disapears when I click ok. So, does anyone have an idea of what's going on? Thanks in advance for your time in responding.

You could just go into the console and type in "connect tv3.theville.org" _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

Here is a trick that will have you gaming in record time.
Right click on your halflife or TFc icon. click on make shortcut.
when that appears right click and select properties.
in the short cut box pick a letter and enter it. just the letter though the computer will enter the rest.
In the Target box enter: C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game tfc -noipx -nojoy +connect 66.136.74.252:27015
Click on apply, This has to be left on the desk top, It does not seem to work if you put it in a folder
Now click, "control, alt , the letter you choose" and it will load and connect! dont even think of using the quotes or comas!
The above is for TV3 you can make more with other servers.
You can also do this for programs you want to get to without clicking thru a bunch of menus.
here is a picture of mine ready to go.

That just tells Half-Life not to load the IPX protocol and that you aren't using a joystick. It saves a little memory. _________________
