Simple yet dumb question

I have been playing here at the Ville on and off for about 3 weeks now. I just started playing TFC after playing Counter Strike for about 6 months. I really like it here, it's a good time, and no one is all "My clan can beat your clan...." But I have one question though, I sorta figured out that a Llama is a respawn camper or something like that, but what is it really? Is it an abbreviation for something? I know this sounds dumb, but we don't have that term playing CS. A simple question, that will surly get me laughed out of the forums for a while. Oh well...

It is a generic term applied to anyone acting like a jerk.
He may be respawn camping or destroying his teams MG's or blocking doorways or spamming messages.
Anyone being annoying and difficult causing the game to suffer for the rest of us.

To sum up someone who dosen't follow the rules and gets people mad.

You will only see them individualy briefly on these servers, we get rid of them.
But the gene pool is large and its a constant battle.

Not really sure what the etymology of the word llama is in this context. I always assumed it was a varation on "lamer" or "lame ass" or something of the sort.

I Beleive the origins of llama might be something near the realm of people calling people Lamers. This over time and computer typos might have evolved into Llamer by accident one day. Or someone accidentally typed Lamar. Everyone had a good laugh and it became a big inside joke and they started calling people Llama as a joke. So then to this day Llama has become a widespread word to use to describe someone who's being a lamer. Llama, Lamer, pretty close.

Of course this is only speculation on the part of YPAWOM.

Cad, I was just excited, I didn't think I was doing that well out here. I love the team play aspect, especially when you have medics and scouts to draw out the mauler in you when they get gunned down by MGs. (Lousy Engys...lol) Seriously, I hope I don't come off as one of those guys who report every kill... Snagg
