I am making a Sequential Control map (attackers and defenders and switch at the end of the round ). I was wondering if anyone would like to get their "two-cents-worth" before I get far into the design area. I will have some screenies posted asap.
Thanks,

lots of bags and gernades and choke points to create epic battles.
keep it small and compact so as not to spread out the battle.
Keep respawns close so that the battle does not die down with wasted time running to battle.
places for sgs and stuff to hide around when the gernades are popping.
Make the snipers risk heavy for camping the choke point. leave him open to gernades or rocket fire. or maybe a colapsable bridge that will dump him from his vantage point or a door or window that closes when hit by rocket fire or....???? then resets.??? preventing the snipe and run tactic. he may get one or two but he will be given a non firing time to let a group out.
Lots of battles and deaths but with the respawn time and closeness to battle it is a non stop push to move either team either way.
Kind of like a tug of war in reverse |

also if the map is flag based. Make sure the bases are symentrical unlike Casbah (the sharef don't like it.) _________________ Yes, I'm still around

Ok, so we want to keep sniper positions down on this map, and sg poisitions up. Ok. I have some nice choke points, like after the first gate.
I will be designing a website about TFC maping. So I will have some easy tuts on there .
Well I will get back to work now,
