Hi!

I just stumbled into The Ville a couple weeks ago, and it's become one of my favorite places to play, when I get a chance that is.

I'm a 22yo(soon to be 23) male from Jasper Indiana. I'm a Computer support tech for a major furniture company. In fact, if you're siting in one of those nice cushy office chairs, we probably made it!

Anyway, just thought I'd say who i am. The one thing i've like about ville since I found it is the players are all cool to play with..not a bunch of assholes like I've seen other places!

My real name is Andry I live in Berkeley Cali. Im 14 yrs old and about to start sophmore year.I like to play TFC and am in a league playin soccer. Too bad im not as smart as maian or lilbigcip other wise i would have a dsl connection... oh well. I started playin tfc when my friends told me about CS but it was too hard to play with my wretched ping but i played it for a while but sucked at it so i started playin tfc and i was searchin around when i fond avantiville. This isnt the only server i play but the one i play on the most =) ive been written too long. C ya all at the ville.

I'm from New York City (Where all the bad cops are) Born and raised here for 25 years and 100% Chinese. All us BGS guys are from NYC and by the way BGS = Bayard St. Ghost Shadows. (I'm probably gonna get some shit for posting that) I work at ING-Barings (investment banking firm) along with Phantazem and DizzyD. I made up the name Jedi cause episode one just came out when I was trying to think of a screen name for aol and Jedi popped up. Anywayz, I'll see you all @ TV.

I am glad to see this post, I am learning some interesting things about my fellow players at theville.

John Does real name is Shane, I am 34, born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I have been in the computer industry for 18 years (Yes, I have seen most of it) and I can remember laying out $8000 to own my own Mac in 1984 when they came out.
I am currently employed by a large health insurance company based in Alberta, I have been with them for 12 years and my title is Senior Technical Analyst. What that means is I fix hardware, software, networks and whatever else comes up. I speak Novell, Microsoft and Compaq and hold certifications for them although I am getting rusty with some of them.

I have been hooked on TFC for about 2 years or so, I find it to be a great stress buster when I come home after a busy day.

Other hobbies include competitive shooting (yes, I can handle a gun quite well so you may not want to cross me) hunting, fishing, and pretty much anything to do with computers. If you have not noticed I have a pretty twisted sense of humor at times, I like to think that I am the oldest 12 year old out there. Remember you may grow older but you dont have to grow up.

I am currently running two home based businesses, but dont seem to have enough time to dedicate to them as I spend far too much time at theville.

Well, thats the boring details about me, hope to see you behind my red dot some time.

Thanks for being older than me, JD!

My name is actually Greg, but keep on calling me Thom anyway. I'm 31 and hail from south-central Pennsylvania, near State College. Like a lot of you, I'm in the computer industry. I'm with a software company that caters to the pharmaceutical industry, doing training and support and consultation on FDA/ISO issues. There's a lot of travel involved, so wherever you are, I've probably been there!

My main non-Ville hobbies include playing loud guitar (at one time professionally), and collecting roller coasters. By riding them, not by stealing them or anything.

My God so many computer peeps. My name is Ben from Arlington, TX just 2 degrees cooler than Houston. I am a burned out network engineer at the tender age of 22. I am currently working as a third shift computer operator at a mid sized hosiptal. I play golf, drink dark beers(because real beer is dark) and play TFC. I will not be here that often anymore because of the new job and going to school at UTA full time to finish that accursed degree. I love the community feel of the Ville and being owned by most of ya'll. And as far as the name Pornstar will who doesn't wnat ot be one. But really the name is far opposite from my conservative view points. Enough this thread was the best idea. But wait it is not complete without the almighty Mayor. Rob where are you?

The real names Jeff and I'm 32. Military kid born in Germany, but grew up in Colorado Springs, CO. After leaving home, lived in Phoenix, LA, San Diego (my wife graduated from SDSU), and now Tampa/Clearwater, FL.

Have a nice job as a Product Manager for Arrow Electronics.

Well, I'm just another old man trying to keep my powers from getting too weak! I'll be 46 next month. Got a 3 yr old daughter and a 19 yr old stepson. Live in the Texas panhandle, been a Texan all my life. Grew up in the Lubbock area on a cotton farm.

I'm a chemical engineer working in process control for a global chemical company. Geuss I kinda fit in cause I spent about 8 yr in college with 3 degrees (no doctorate though).

Love TFC, love The Ville servers. Have tried other games and other servers. Have settled here and gotten used to being killed repeatedly by the same poeple (not as impersonal that way).

I'm 26 years old and my real name, like the Mayor, is Robert. As Jedi mentioned, all us BGS members live in New York City.

Jedi, DizzyD, and I work in the compliance department of ING Barings making sure everything goes smoothly; however, we have known eachother (and Gloomie) for far longer than we've been working together. We met way back when we were all associated with the infamous organization that gives our clan its acronym. Anyway the FBI put a stop to that and we have all moved on.

I spent 2 years at SUNY Binghamton and graduated from Queens College.

When I'm not at work or out drinking with my boys, my favorite thing to do is play TFC on my dream machine PC (and go fishing when possible). My grilfriend can't stand how much time I spend on the computer but she doesn't force the issue (probably because she knows that if I were forced to choose between her and the machine, she would loose out! lol)

I've been playing TFC since it was first released on the HL GOTY edition (back then on 56K, now on Cable).

Anyway...great topic Omega. Its interesting to find out more about the people I spend so much time blowing up. See ya all in TV!

I'm 16, I don't do drugs. I play hockey and ultimate frisbee and I take a crapload of AP and honors classes (A really smart jock, who would've thunk it

). My gf keeps me sane and happy. I'm kinda old-fashioned, I follow a fairly strict code of honor but I have a rather bad temper. Oh well, I make up for it with my TFC knowledge and skill. If anyone needs pointers, mail me and I'll do my best to help ya.

Bayuryu, my competitions involve handguns only, I doubt I can see a dime at 200 yards with iron sites anymore, ah to be young again.

Maian, you have lots of friends here at The Ville. Some of us even do care. put your email in your profile as I did want to email you something.

T3, Rockman, Thom Yorke, Roofcutter and the others that are over 30. We should look at forming our own clan, the TV30+ clan. We would take on all the newcomers and teach them to respect their elders (and their betters). Of course you have to be there when the clan needs you, excuses like "I couldn't play yesterday cause my arthritis was acting up" are not going to cut it. Play through the pain!

lol u don't wanna be young again. i mean what's there to gain parties, cheerleaders, eyesight, stamina, intelligence, (did I mention the cheerleaders) lol sorry. I know too many of 'em. Almost forgot to mention this my gf is a volleyball player and my father has a 1966 lotus elan se that I'm restoring so that I can drive it
