Here again, more of the british things that I don't understand. I almost understood it, but once you added in E and U, you lost me. How is the grading system there.?

Ok, pretty similar to our A, B, C, D, F, with F being the failing grade.

Thank you for the info bobbins.

Hmmm....in Texas (at least where I live) it's like this...

100-90 = A
89-80 = B
79-70 = C
69-60 = D = Failing
59-0 = F, the letter isn't really used much, instead you just say the number. Besides, you're failing and that's about all that really matters, hehe

grades confuse the hell out of me. its one of those govt-plots-to-reduce-everyone-to-meaningless-numbers. kind of like student IDs. (seriously, the fact that i can remember my "number", as i call it, really disturbs me...) no but really, think about it - if you get anything below average (C) that would be a (D), and youd fail... so... you HAVE to be above average to pass. which means that above average actually IS average, and around that point, my brain explodes from the confusion.

You guys have it much easier nowadays... when I was in school the scale was a bit more rigid...

100-93 = A
92-85 = B
84-77 = C
76-69 =D
68 or below = F

Sheesh... must be nice.

Does this mean America has a harder grading scale? Might explain why we do so low in test scores

P.S. Got my testing back today, 99% of students in California

thats how it works with the gualifications called G.C.S.E's.... anythin below a C and well... bye bye... no point in anythin

but AS and A-Levels an E is a very good grade to get... but obviously the higher you get the better lol

Grades? Who has time for grades? Back in the day when we had to walk to school uphill both ways in 2 feet of snow...

Congrats bobins. One note: Study more, get stabbed less.
