YAY!
After much wondering when the next build is gonna be done, to get rid of a couple of bugs - we've decided to use a version of breakout3 that has a couple of minor bugs.
It'll first be playtested at TVB's upcoming custom map night.
After that I'm not sure.
However at playtests, I need you all to look out for specific bugs that may or may not crop up.
Firstly the text that appears when you cap/pick up flag/win/lose etc. Make sure that they all correspond to what you've just done.
Same for voice over things ("Command point 4 has been breached" etc)

There are 2 or 3 bugs we know about, they will be fixed in a final build once this is tested.
1) When you first pick up the flag to take to cp1, it says "Take the the flag to cp1"
we shall remove one of the "the"s
2) There is a det sign at cp 4's det area, however it's tied to the wrong place, so when you detpack the cp *2* area - the sign at cp4 disappears.
3) A small big of land sticks out into the hole at cp2....not sure if we'll remove it or not.

It would be nice to get a list so we can start downloading them earlier.

That custom map night is for <TVB> so I presume the list is in their forums.

For those that were here last night for the playtest, could you post any comments (positive and negative) and or observations etc here so cstone and I can act on them.
I'm currently wondering what the hell was wrong with the spawn points, but I'm not sure as yet - especially as previous versions had no problems.
I'm also unclear about the server error message people were getting - I doubt they were map related but I will talk to Tarzan if I see him about it.

i'm no map reviewer, and i'm not very proffesional either but i'll give it a go.

Pros
-nice connectivity
-easy to get the hang of playing the map
-texturing is nice
-not many sniping spots

Cons
-Really damn bright (us computer geeks have a problem with light )
-The render speeds are bad in that field at the middle of the map, especially when you have a lot of explosions and peeps around (it might have been lag, but there weren't any major laggers playing)
-not many sniping spots

other than those few problems i really liked the map, and hope that you put it on one of the tv server's map rotation.

I had a really good time on the map and can't wait for it to be in regular rotation.

I was kicked 3 times with 2 different Errors.
Killer was not effected at the same time as I was although he was kicked once.

I think besides the already mentioned problems I would like to see the health bags upped to maybe 2 bags giving full restore. I don't think it would unbalance the game to much. Sorry don't mean to be greedy just want health! LOL

I believe someone mentioned a shadow on the back wall by cap4, was that you Greebo?

Does the defending team have a gernade bag?
Maybe I missed it somewhere. It seemed to be unavailable at the #4 respawn where it is labeled as being.

Maybe it was a corrupt up/download to Tarzan

Other than that It's a blast! I know your all busy but I hope you find the time to adjust it and release it.

Hmmm explored map pretty well in create a game and never found det place for cap 2.Let me know where it is or I could go explore again.Had a lot of fun at the playtest.THX greebo and cstone map looks great.Fast and furious action what more can you ask for.

Greebo I think you and your buddy CStone did a real nice job on the map.Now I am not one to judge anothers Map making skills since I have a hardtime finding my way around town.
The only thing that I noticed was kind of strange was the speed of my Class <Spy>..
Now I have been having problems with my PC ever since I upgraded my memory so it could be just that. Did anyone else notice Speed differences with the "Class" that they played on this Map?
