Just turned 33 on the 2nd....
I didn't actually think that there were as many thirty-somethings on the ville as there are. Not surprisingly, some of the people that I have the most fun playing with are my age. Go figure
HEY! We should have a 30+ night!
Everyone has to play HW to simulate the spare tires (I'm working on it!) and slow creaky joints. We'll play Vidars2 so we can complain about the cold. We won't actually fight or anything, we'll just use the game chat to talk about the games we used to play, and how good we used to be
(BTW, I was an Atari master! I was the first one on my block to find the easter egg in the game "Adventure", and I got a T-shirt for breaking 150,000 in Pitfall. And don't get me started on Defender and Donkey Kong... $1.50 in quarters and I could play for 4 hours)
I'd start setting it up now, but I doubt I could stay up late enough to actually participate. Besides, with the kid, and the job, and the mortgage...
BTW - first person to identify the SNL quote gets a Ville mug on me! _________________

<---------- 32
as for the SNL
HEY! We should have a 30+ night!
Is this what you were talking about?
I played atari till my fingers were numb! I got a shirt for a game called somthing like megablaster or somthing like that? Any way I loved pitfall! That was a great game! Better yet what show was Kramer first on? A hint for you. He played with GI Joe and set his sisters barbi and ken on fire.
know the show?
GO bucs

Aahhhhhh, the good ol' days of real video games. I too had Atari. I got grounded the first night we had it cause I played Asteroids for 3 1/2 hours without dieing. I didn't wanna stop till I was dead so my parents just turned it off and said I couldn't play for a week, heheh. I also remember all the others mentioned. I also remember the first computer I ever used. I believe it was an Apple IIe if I remember right. I know they were out long before that one but that was my first. Well so much for reminising, it's off to work. _________________

I played Qbert on the Gameboy. But it broke, and I couldn't be bothered getting a new one.
And I still have a ZX Spectrum in the loft. That was fun *coughs*. 128K, tape based games were da bomb. But I still play some of the games using an Emulator on this PC.
One Atari game I really loved in the arcades was Pole Position. The one I played was like a little chamber of its own, so we could sit down to control the pedals properly. Only on the one occasion did I get Pole, but I never completed it. Then the arcade got flooded by the 1336 Scottish weather, and everything got ruined |

<---- 27 going on 28.
I had an Atari 2800 and then later a Commodore 64C. I don't think I ever payed for any of the 100's of games I had on that system. Oh yeah, 8 colors rocks!
Pole position kicked a**! Spy Hunter was fun too!
Also had an Amiga and I thought Chestmaster 2000 was awesome! <--
geek
I even had the first Nintendo that came with the robot to help you play one of the stupid games that came with the system! _________________
