sneaky MG tactic

Hey all you Engies! Here's something to try for laughs. I call it the "Stupid Dumbass".

Find an enemy standing in a corner, and throw a multigun right on top of them. With any luck, they'll be trapped! They can shoot the MG, of course, but you can take a few shots at them or blow up the MG like a bomb. Or if you have a teammate handy, they can always upgrade it for big laughs.

Avanti is a great map for this, since there are a lot of supply packs in corners. You can pull off a similar trick with an SG, but the MG is infinitely better because it builds instantly. (You used to be able to trap a Spy feigning death by building on top of them. Don't know if they ever fixed that.)

Many thanks to <PWG>Snakeyes, who I accidentally trapped with this tactic while he was on my team. Oorgle! He decided that I was a "stupid dumbass", which is how the technique got it's name.

LOL thom! some llama on my team kept building mgs ON respawn points, so when you respawned, you would get trapped. It was hilarious!

When playing offense on Avanti, I keep resisting the urge to put an MG near 3 just before we cap the church, so it will mangle a few people when the sides switch. MUHAHAHAHAHA!

LOL-Sounds like some pre-meditated llama action to me. I'll have to use some pre-emptive admin action by binding your build buttons to admin_slap.
