AH HEL PLZ!! NOW

AHH, this reall SUX!!... i have a bad feelng my good new comp (i'm on my old one), well when i start it up, it will like kinda lock up, and not work, like it wil begin loadin Kazaa (u know how when u start ur cmop, some progs r auto started), well it iwll begin to load up kazaa, and then leave the kazaa screen in the middle of my desktop, i can get it to go away by Ctrl, ALT, Del, and then ending Kazaa.exe, well the my comp is SLOW, and won't even bring up progs usually, like i can't seem to get Norton up,b/c i wanna run a virus scan, and it takes like 20 mins to load a simiple prog, and can't do much on it, so anyone got any ideas?

FYI: on my Kazaa, i hae
-like 180 songs (DLed some yesterday, might have gotten sumtin from that, but i usually check the file name before DLing, but i'm not sure if i did that yesterday or not)
-no porn (i know viruses usualy come from that)
-like 3 progs, but non recentl DLed and i've used em all
-no pics

any ideas??

Kazaa = spyware

That program is known for it's spyware and lagging out computers. I would totally uninstall it if I were you. Have you tried WinMX? That's an awesome little P2P program with no pop ups,, banners, or spyware.

oh trust me, i'm gettin rid of it ASAP, but i gotta get my comp workin first, i can't get darn Norton to come up, the 1 prog i want, i can't get to come up, so i'm gonna go and try get rid of Kazaa, but i wanna save my songs

your songs should be stored on your HD anyways.. getting rid of kazaa won't get rid of the songs

Dahak is right, you can just change the name of the file or move it to make it easier to access. You can also just import them to your win media player if you haven't already.

well i'm still not even sure if it is a virus/is in kazaa, but would sumone who knows this stuf get on AIM wit me, i'm on there, BiGbOyB1611, and help me out, plz, i gotta get this workin

Kazaalite (hax0red kazaa without spyware) > winmx. Winmx went bad when they made a private network, it was always better with opennap servers.

ok now that i got rid of kazaa, what DL source should i use?? i want one that will not give me viruses or anything, all i DL is songs really, so what source should i prob use??

I know some people swear by winmx, but I was rather diasppointed with it myself. I would suggest KAZAA LITE. It is pretty much the same thing as kazaa, but minus the spy ware. go to www.download.com and look for Kazaa Lite. As far as virii go, thats not kazaa's fault, the virus would come from the file you download. In order to avoid that, I would recommend that you regularly scan your shared folder.

Another couple tips, Only open Kazaa when you use it, close when you have recieved your files. Also, I know this is a bitch thing to do, but don't share many files. The more files you share, the more people DL from you, and the more bandwidth Kazaa uses.
