Guys and Gals

It's simple it really is. Does things really have to be this difficult? Yeah some admins feel they are on the defensive...I feel like I have to defend myself at every corner. Why is that? Is it necessary? Can't we all just play the game? Is it THIS hard to play something in recreation and not make it feel like another job?

No. It is human nature not tou agree on everything said and done. I've been waiting for 3 and a bit pages for someone to actually do something here. Nothing. Nobody. Someone has to take action, or nothing will get done!!

This may not suit a lot of you, and for a few reasons, it does not suit me either. I like Snag and JR. Well, before the latter changed to SoDum anyway. They should both be banned from the servers ( done ) AND the forums. It is the forums that are causing the most problems, because you can actually think clearly here!!

Without sounding like a sergant, we need stricter rules around here. Anyone with a bad attitude needs to go, otherwise it will cause this - a hostile split between two party's. Trouble makers have caused this. Sorry JR and Snag, I do not mean to be picking on you here, but you are the criminals - and we ( the community of The Ville ) are the victims.

Now I'm going to play some TFC, and have fun, and I'll add more later.

This is a completely different tone to my last post, so I'm not editing it.

It took about half an hour, but I digged up some old information. 4 pages on the Ville thread, and 7 pages on the Planet Fortress Thread, about the banning of | RES |Paul_Bunyan.

However Omega, you have to decide who has a bad attitude or is it just a different one from your's? It's like if shrinks could, they'd say everyone has something mentally wrong with them(I don't know if anyone is one, so don't take offense at this, it's just musings of a bored mind).

On the subject of regular's, should those who are curious just PM an admin they think will answer? Wouldn't that be better than having it open to everyone, especially those who don't know much (if anything) about the person in question, and keep them from being opinionated about someone they don't know? I know that if I heard anything negative about someone, met them in-game, and played with/against them, I'd have start out with a bad opinion of them.

On the flip side, if an admin wants to address it in public, then that's their choice. Shouldn't they be the ones to address something, instead of anyone who wants to, bring it to be drug out and beaten senseless first?

I'm not posting to this topic anymore. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm gonna go play me a good, long game of TFC. Something that makes The 'Ville fun (also wouldn't make sense to even have it if there was no TFC), no matter what amount of complaining, whining, and flaming is going on in the forums. A good time of screwing around, without offending anyone, is always fun for all.

Mine, you have a point, it is a bad attitude for me. But it also is a bad attitude for the admins too, because they have banned them both from the servers for being an ass, breaking rule number 1, and having a bad attitude! I have PM'ed 2 admins about the banning of JR and Snag, and one gave me the exact reasons why they were banned; for being an ass, breaking rule number 1, and having a bad attitude!

And I'm doing this for my benevit. I'm doing this for The 'Ville, and I ant to try and help get everything sorted out.

I would also like to drop most of the topics here. I haven't posted in either snaggletooth threads, I posted in the JR thread but took my comment out, but yet I'm still being one who is causing this havok you can say. Most people know who I agree with, and most people know hy. I don't want to talk about this, I don't want to voice my opinion, I want to stay out of this, but yet I'm litterally dragged right in. I hope this is the last thread. I really do. I personally do believe JR needs his old attidude back. I was talking to him before I went away, and he is really cool around me, but I do not like some of the comments I see from him when he is not with me, tor, etc. As for advertising other people's servers, I do not recall repling to any of those threads at all. I don't believe many people here even know I'm an admin at snaggles server, and the only forum I have posted his server info on so far is the cats. I am sorry if I have offened anyone with the few posts I've made so far on these topics.

And lastly just some FYI, Paul bunyon was not caught cheating in a league match, that was a joke posted on april fools, and a couple days later retracted because so many people believed it without realising the members list, the ogl rosters, etc still all had him on as active. He retired a little while ago, without cheating in a league match.

I play on the servers. That's all it is really.

Admin job: keep the servers clean of llamas. I think a certain level of tolerance is called for of course.

Player job: play the damn game for the fun of it, without doing stupid and annoying things.

I'm sure 80% of players at the Ville do not care at all about this discussion. I think that Snaglle and JR are sometimes right, and sometimes JR make stupid posts (llama on TV3 was an exemple). Same for some admins, I saw some strange posts and good ones.

I think you guys are shouting in the wind, really, and all this forum stupidities are the real responsibles of a bad atmosphere. I've been with CSI for 3 years, we had bad moments, good ones too, but even though we were friends, we were still dots on the screen.... No reasons to get so attached in that conflict. You guys should explain yourself by private messages, and not get this out in the forums. Really, *I* and many others, couldn't care less about this conflict.

EDIT: Paddy you beat me to the post but ill post my thoughts anyways since youve just helped reinforce my thoughts.

Unreal, why does this whole situation remind me of a bunch of 17 year old high school girls lobbying for prom queen? Here are my suggestions for this whole situation:

1: LOCK THIS THREAD

2: Everyone realizes that becuase of the issues with a couple of former regs, that most people have some sort of tie or deep respect for these players regardless of what happend. Thats why they were regulars, because in the begining they had a great TPF and ville attitude, and upheld and respected these ideals. which is fine, thats the way it should be. No one is flaming anyone for being on there side or being there friends, afterall you pick your own friends, the Ville doesent pick them for you. I havent heard anyone get flammed for stating any of the above, I only see people getting flamed by stating this by questioning the Admins decisions and in every other post making a comment such as "well I guess that makes me a target now" Why???? Why does this need to be said? what does this prove/gain? Nothing, absolutely nothing, Period. It causes more tension than anything and makes you look like your trying to beat a dead horse. No one wants to take away your freedom to voice your opinion, but not everyone one wants to come to the forums everyday and see 40 different posts filled with negativity and fingerpointing. If the Admins or the plaintiff want you to know why it happened, they will post it, if they dont you more than have the right to PM a Admin to get more information, by doing this your doing a couple of things. 1 your more than likely going to get your answer, 2 your inquiry on the issue more than likely wont be taken out of context and "make you a target" as you can deal with the source directly and explain your stance to them. 3 your not airing publicly yours or the person in questions "dirty laundry"

I come here to relax and enjoy myself and get away from the stress of every day life and mix it up in game with people who have the same interests as myself, Im not here to argue, bicker, complain, (yes i know this is a complaint post, but is just as well is a plea to everyone) and try to play Lawyer (if I wanted all that id get married)

So please people, everyone that has ever played here. lets try to move on from all of this, if you have questions or issues, PM an Admin, its there job to listen and to help. And beyond all of what ive typed and all that has been said before me: JUST TRY TO HAVE FUN WITH GOOD PEOPLE!

on a last note im going to pay my respects to 2 great players like everyone else should have in the past and just moved on: Snaggletooth and Jolly Roger, its been a great run with both of you and Ill definetly look you both up in game sometime so you can both increase your kill counts on me. GG ALL
