well as some of you noticed -- yesturday my ping was all over the place

Yea...your ping was nuts, avging about 400 (yuk)

but it got worse
for some reason the phone line that i use for the net has been playing up lately -- auto disconnecting n stuff
and well its got worse -- i mean its completely dead
their no dial tone -- nothing -- i even checked it by pluging my phone into it and it is definately dead
but this is good news because -- ntl (my service n line provider) is comming out tommorow to replace the line and get it all sorted for free -- so i should have a more stable ping back to what i used to get -- around 290 to 350
i cant wait -- hopefully this will mean no more lag spikes of 4000
the only down side is that i cant play online tonight -- well i can 4 an hour or two as i've hyjacked my other line -- thats normaly used just for the phone -- hehehe

Well, I hope your ping gets better. I don't know why is the problem with my ping yet. I don't think it is because of the line, but I could be wrong.

you sould still get your line checked out -- cos u never know
i hope u sort your lag probs out soon too -- *crosses fingers* i do hope this sorts mine out

It's not the line, It's AOL.
Hey that should be their new slogan. LOL, i use the line for the phone for internet so as you know when someone calls AOL disconnects. Also, no one in my house can use the phone when i am on so if i want to play online, i have to wait till early morning or late at night.....
