Quote: | HLGuard v1.07 Now Available
Posted by WingNut » Comments
HLGuard v1.07 is now available for download from the United Admins website.
FIXED: Flickering/vanishing players with ping less than 30ms.
FIXED: Improved Wallhack Blocking for thin walls and doors.
FIXED: Nemesis 1.9 disabling. (Server Admin Optional)
FIXED: Invisible Script detection.
FIXED: CSG to HLG in aimbot detection lines.
FIXED: File & Cvar to Alias & Cvar throughout.
We all know that VSM isn't available yet for TFC, and no one but VALVe knows when they intend on implementing it. So there isn't much protection against wallhackers, etc, on an un-protected server.
For those of you that don't know, HLGuard will BLOCK a user from being able to see you thru a wall, and it works exceptionally well. Take a look at these Example Screenshots and decide.

Don't know if you guys know about this or not, so decided to post it. This is taken from the front page of www.catacombsnews.com _________________

How often do these new updates come out, I just saw one earlier this week for 1.04 or something like that? _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

This latest release is mostly in response to the "cheat" Nemesis. But they tend to have a new patch/release every week or two |

I think that you can set it to either disable or not disable Nemesis.
Either way I hope my screen stops going screwy when someone joins the game (and my nades going silent). _________________ The most hated.

It's a client side hook that allows players using OpenGL to see underwater like those with Direct3D do. It also ads a nifty little speedometer at the top of your screen so you can see how fast you're going. In addition to that, it ads a neat flag status readout and puts a clock up in the corner so you don't have to run around your house trying to find a clock when you're playing. But, the quick thinking folks at HLGuard have decided that these features are an unfair advantage to people who can't run Direct3D due to the extreme laggyness of the graphics, and made it a bannable offense on servers running HLGuard. It can be disabled, but most people think that by evening out the playing field it's not fair to the lame snipers who hide under water and run D3D. GG HLGuard! |

I can never get tired of playing that game!! I like the gernade launcher loaded with freeze or flame rounds. Freeze recommended! |
