|
|
Ok, sure, my parents bought me a DELL computer awhile back (two or three years old) with Windows 98 on it.
And, as so, just today I bought Jedi Knight II (since I'm a SW fanatic) and decided to play it, like any other game.
But noooooooo.....like always, something goes HORRIBLY FUC**** WRONG (pardon my language, I'm extremely fustrated)
Oh! Looks like I can't FREA**** launch the stupid FREA**** game because OpenGL doesn't FREA**** WORK! ARGH!
So can someone help me? Or am I doomed?
(I tried dl'ing Opengl98.exe from www.opengl.org but that didn't help.) |

What video card do you have? Since I don't know at the moment, I would say that it could be the source of your problems and it could need new drivers or the card doesn't support the functions that the game needs. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. right click on my computer, go to properties, then click on the plus sign next to display adapters and tell me what comes up under display adapters. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

I would suggest going to www.nvidia.com and downloading their newest drivers. I hope this helps you. I personally haven't played the game so. I don't know the inner workings. My other suggestion would be to go to the games website and see if they have some tech support. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

No problem, just tell me, was it the drivers? _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |
