Today I was playing on a server "devils den" or something like that. I noticed that the blue team was really kicking our a$$. Like 150-30 or something. So I decided to go on defence. I went down into our flag room (this was on 2fort) and as soon as I was down there 5 blue players were attacking me. So I kept killing them but they would come back. There was one player in particular. -sU- something or other. I realised that he was camping! I told him as much and he said "you really don't know any thing about tfc do you? What I’m doing is called relaying."
Really however he was camping right on the flag point and when his team capped the flag he would get it and then come back and camp again.
This I really was puzzled over. I then asked him how long had he played tfc for. He said 2 months. So I guess that he wouldn't know what base camping was or just general camping was.

I insisted that he was camping and he told me that I had a f$%^ing attitude problem. And that I was just winning because I was losing (I had better scores than he did just from killing him!). This isn't the worst part yet mind you. I asked him if he knew about theville.org. He said that it must be a newbie server because I was a newbie because I had only played for a year or so. And that he got kicked from it because he was "camping" like he always does.... I didn't get it. Here he was telling me that I didn't know about tfc and that I must be a newbie when he even admitted that he was kicked from theville.org for camping! and that TVB couldn't have tonns of members... I even told him that he was camping and explained what it was. He then told me that it wasn't cs and that if I wanted to play cs then I should just get that instead of tfc! In the end he was kicked by server admin for base camping and respawn infecting.

The moral of the story is theville.org is a good server and I hate camping / base camping scum bags. Who even admit that they were kicked from theville.org for camping. And that theville.org is the best tfc server around.

erm...what was the problem? Relaying is a common tactic on almost every server I've been to, even here. Camping is not moving, or playing defense, you can't camp in the enemy team's base, unless you're respawn camping...and that's lame. Otherwise, he has every right to wait for the flag.

How is that camping? Or bad camping? I do that all the time on acropolis and 2fort. If the other teams defense is that pathetic that they cant keep the other team out of thier flag room to wait for the flag to be capped then I'd say the team defending was a bunch of n00bs

Yeah, I have experinced the power of Blown with a weak defence in Acrop. You can tear up an SG or two, just to grab the flag.

Anyway Potato, from you explained he really wasn't camping. Sounds to me that there was no defense besides you to keep him out.
