I prefer to get better at every class than just specialize. Most people who see me play know I constantly attack...I don't hold back and I try to advance the flag as every class. I don't believe I hurt my team by going random in the least.
Tonight, playing on TV1, in just one map rotation I scored 85, and I played 90% of that time as random...
Don't get me wrong, if my team is having a lot of trouble or somebody needs to blow the church, I will most certainly switch to that class.
But I don't think going random is a team killer at all...just depends on how you play. We all see plenty of players who stay one class only and do nothing for their teams.
