Just a short tip for you spys out there. When there is someone camping at the top of an elevator (Soldier and HW alike), on the way up, rather than just ride up, disguise to a non spy unit on -your team-. That's right, if you are red, become a red medic or scout. Tossing a pack next to you on the vater helps too.

The reason is that people often check spy corpses and friendly corpses, but very rarly do they check enemy corpses... what it usually makes it look like is that someone killed you as you reached the elevator.

It can backfire and they may jump on you, but, hey. If your options are die by rocket and maybe die by crowbar but possibly get out untouched, then it's worth a shot.

Just thought that I would expand on this a little bit. On CTF maps when running toward the NME base i wil disguise myself as someone from my own team. This will keep the defense from being tipped off about your presence prematurely.

Also don't be afraid to whip out the shotty. Some people get so knife happy they forget they have their SSG handy.
