Ok, You Spies And The MG's

Ok, this is really for those spies and scouts. i have been playin as an engie lately and i always build mg's. the only thing is that they can't get upgraded to anything good. i only really like the tesla coils. the rest of them are ok, but i prefer tesla. i will build it and ask over and over again for a spy or scout, and i sit and watch spies walk by me without even touching it, when it will just take a second. i have met a few spies, like Secret Agent Man, that would help me and touch my mg's. thank you, but some others would just never do it, even after i continuelly asked. all i'm askin is that the spies and scouts would try to touch the mg's when we engies tell you where they are and all, i promise you that they will help you out too. i know how you feel about the mg. i also am a engi sometimes and ppl just walk by them. So when ever i see a mg ill upgrade for you.

yeah, sometimes its hard to see them, i do know how you feel, i'm usually an engi on avanti on defence, and i tell them spy but a sniper comes, or a hwguy, i say over and over spy, i know how it feels,

well what i dont get about this MG thing is why dont they take the ability of the class like hw it should shoot AC shots dont ya think ? i think it needs to be relooked at and the stats need to be perfected

I touch everyone I see. As a soldier though I'm not sure if you want me to if your there. So I usually give a jump. If you respond in a positive way I'll touch it. If not I'll run. I like the multiple rockets, are they effective? I know the tesla is so cool its preferred.
Someone who knows should post the benefits and drawbacks of them. The cycle between activity would help to. If there is a lag between shots.

I agree the tesla is prefered but the laser guided rockets via a sniper is very effective too. Although, mostly at longer distances. Scouts and spies are sometimes hard to come by, but you will always see snipers. I will always upgrade MGs as a sniper even if it pisses the engie off. An active MG of ANY kind is more effective than an MG waiting for a spy/scout upgrade IMHO.

I was playing warpath last night and we defended point 1 for a long time with 2 laser guided rockets and an sg. The rockets would come from opposite ends of the map and kill the intruder quite effectively. Even if one missed (which happens) the second is bound to hit. The fact that it alerts to a spies presence is much more valuable, in my opinion, that relying on the MG for the kill. They find the spies.. after that its just a matter of pulling out their toenails one at a time until they bleed to death... but enough about my kindness towards spies.

Ok, thank you everyone, and yes Avenger, i'm sure that half of them dont't know what a MG is, but i've even seen some regulars just walk by. Rat-Tat-Tat, i do agree with you, there should be a MG that shots AC bullets, that would be cool... i hope that the admin's take advantage of that request. and Roofcutter, i do like the Rockets from soldiers, i just prefer tesla b/c it can kill spies much easier, but i wouldn't mind at all if u or any other soldier were to touch my mg, and snipers ones are good too. i like 1)Spy/Scout 2)Sniper 3)Soldier....well i hope to see the all of you later and happy killing! : )

I have noticed the same so I started placing them where players have to walk into them. They dont last as long but atleast they get upgraded.

I know that one..why ppl have to say "what is that!!" and start shooting it is beyond me. Some ppl are so bad I have to yell at them to stop. Getting my MG upgraded is like pulling teeth. Ppl avoid the MG like it was a evil medic. I also put them in the main paths just to get them upgraded.

Yeah, i do hate it when my own team-mates start to shoot and and end up destroying it. Avenger, you are right and i like your explanation, it is like pulling teeth, people do avoid them. it's like they think that it will kill them when u are standing by it. I have started to just put them in the main path, and it does work but they get destoyed quickly. well bye and happy killing : )

I try to touch them whenever I can myself...but I play random a lot now, and you never know what you will get when I come around the corner...lol!

But as a spy, I try very hard to touch them as I know everybody loves Tesla Coils...
