Another New Server...soon

Pondscum, it will be in Eau Claire, WI. For those of you without a clue where that is, it's in the west central part of the state. 1 hour from Minneapolis/St.Paul MN.

I'm going to call it Avantiville2.0 for the time being.

Since TV 5 is currently running 24/7 Avanti, Computer questions whether or not we should have another 24/7 Avanti server

Maybe TV 5 rotation could change, but whatever. Don't really matter all that much to me I love having a 24/7 Avanti server, however I feel that two fo them may be over kill.

I agree with the name Avantiville(TheVille.org 1). Great stuff.

BTW, what is the I.P for TV5? I type it in, and it comes up with a Half-Life Deathmatch server.

instead of the 27015 end it is 27016, this is the reason a lot of people have trouble.

another Q - is this server going to be an official ville server? like will it be part of stats and everything? Cause i think if so, it needs to have theville.org I in ()'s, so that peoples know who arent regulars

I may go ahead and bring out some maps that have gathered dust here at The Ville lately, as well as some standard maps Avanti/Warpath/Well/Crossover2/Casbah if TV5 is going to stay all Avanti.

I'd like it to become an 'official' Ville server (Avantiville2.0 (TheVille.org VII), I'd prefer not to "replace" another server, just in case) I'm not sure how to get it set up to be part of the stats, nor do I have the admin accounts set up to be linked to the other servers. I'll need some help to get that working, but until that happens...it's another place to play.

if you ask me, it should be avanti only, become TV1, and TV5 should switch back to its old maps. having #1 be avantiville seems righter. (and besides, if you named it AV and then it wasn't all A, it wouldnt make sense! O_o)
