If I find anyone building a SG and running to their respawn to hide, I will personally chase them into the respawn and cut them down, with rockets and grenades blasting. Good thing I haven't been able to affirm anything people have been saying on here, or their ratio would be far less than 20:1!

Hey guys, remember chasing the POTW is a little different than just playing the game.
There are no additional rules to attain POTW, just the servers normal requirements. That means the one at the end of the week on top wins, no if ands of buts.
If he has developed a method that works than so what, thats the price of victory.
Some wins are sweeter than others but a win is a win no less. Some of you can run circles around the map and win with ease but some need to use guile and a plan of action.
You might think its easy to set up an sg and rack up points but I think not. It has to be close to the action and replaced often. I know I've destroyed thousands with the eng. attached.
So give the guy a break he has done a fine job of getting player of the week. Flaming him is not nice or pleasent if you want to cajole him then fine but jeez you guys are brutal. |

I have to agree with Roof. Yes, he hides a little, but at least he does not talk a bunch of trash or curse a lot.
Anyway, just my opinion...see you all online later. |

Bah, Frag has given Mr Svvord a visit or two. I'm not worried about him. The toughest players I go against are usually skilled soldiers. Of course the biggest two pains will always be Bakuryu and MikeRotch.

I partly agree with roof - however:
This is a team game, the point is to get your team to win. The point of the game is NOT to be POTW.

I agree with Roof, but I'm frustrated with the lack of honor present. I enjoy a challenge and I presume that most players do. A certain aspect of honor is usually present when people play. I've never seen this guy challenge himself though, which surprises me. I've been trying recently to work with people in small packs, attacking places on the map simulatneously and causing confusion (there is nothing like seeing a medic, pyro, and two soldiers charging from all sides) and I've developed some teamplay skills. I say if he wins by hiding, that's fine, but he isn't helping his team. Many people never recognize the people who do go out there and make the game fun and interesting. Albino Gibbon, Maian, Tinkerbell (you crazy medic you), Bada Bing, Kamikaze, Killerroofcutter and roofcutter, the avenger, munkeyeye, axa, and billions upon billions of others. These guys never seem to get any recognition for it, so I just wanted to award them a sort of POTW Spirit award.

You have a pain in your crotch Frag? hehe ok bad joke...im honored you feel that way. i think you are definately the better spy though. i wish i was around, id be sure to take out svvords sg first. if he wants to go for player of the week then fine, but it seems hes not contributing to his team and making the game unfun for other people and bothering them. there isnt any real rule against hiding and just going for POTW so we dont have to like how he plays but if thats what he wants to do there isnt ne thing to be done. |

I happened to have spoke to this svvord guy and he's a pretty good bloke he does hide alot but he says he plays defence I personnaly think that you have to be in the action to have fun but hey I'm cool with svvord but I will still hunt him down if he becomes a threat

Sniper and engy take skill, and not any loser can get POTW on them, I get an average of 6000th place every week, playing mostly only those two. Does this mean I suck? No. It means I help my team out, and have FUN, which includes wrench-beating a HW guy until my head is riddled with bullets.
My classes (avanti)
Defense:
Engineer
Sniper after they have pt 3
Offense:
Sniper
Medic
Pyro (cause its HARD)
HW guy in last 5 minutes so I can amaas lots of kills ^_^
Warpath:
Spy. Always. Best one out there too. AHaha
Murderball w/ NTF (yeah I know, not on the ville):
Snipper, always! I am awesome at it!
Cept sometimes I am also pyro cause its fun cause its hard. As a sniper i leave the base and go on offense getting myself killed in the name of fun.
All that to sum up: lay off it, everyone on both sides, |

Thanks Bak. You should get an award for friendliest player. Other than myself(JK), I dont know anyone who is friends with as many people on the ville. Playing with you, everyone you mentioned and the many, many others, makes playing on the ville a real fun time. But I havent seen u lately, whereve u been? And also, lately I've noticed A LOT of new people that are real jerks, or just big idiots. Am I the only one who's noticed this, or have you guys noticed a sudden rise in the teamplay in the ville. I've also noticed a decline in the regulars that I see. Now, I only play with about 3 tvb'ers or other regulars a night. I guess with TV4, we have more room to "spread out", but its not as fun without lots of people you know. But anyway, thanks Bak.

Maian I do have a lot of friend here but I yell too much at people. I tend to have a bad temper with people. I wish I could set up a training server or something and teach people how to avoid getting killed so easily in TFC. |

I was rather saddened tonite playing on The Ville III. A player named Stan, who evidently didn't "meet" up to his teams standards, or one person's standards was kicked by an initiated vote. I asked what this person did, not one person answered me, not even the one initiating the vote. I did not see anyone complaining about him/her. After checking the stats on this person, it looked to me this was the first time this person has at least played at The Ville, and had the look of a newbie. Most of the people playing, I did not recognize. All of you (I hope the people who did this are reading this) were newbies once and to treat someone like this was pretty bad. What was the kicker, was a player on that team said something like "good now I can be sniper." Really really Sad
