Your little posty thing that says you got a whopping $.50 cents in two months? OK well I'll tell you why they're not making you any money... half of them are porn, and the other half pop up telling you to download some file, so no one in their right mind is just gonna click yes...

I agree with Goldom. I can understand you're disapointment with our banner support, but most of them are impractical. None of us are coming to the ville to buy things.

As far as monetary support you know that most of us are willing to make donations. (I believe there is already a thread debating this, so I don't intend to start that discussion again.)

Rob, your post on the main page appears to be fairly condecending. I don't know if you intended it to be. We're all willing to support you, I don't want you to think that we're not.

Heck I was unaware that there are even pop up ads. I have a ad blocker so I never see any of them.

WTF? there are NO porn ads at the ville. I have never seen one. The closest thing that comes to porn is a bunch of pictures of supermodels in skimpy clothes!

Hey, I've only been here for a short time, but I feel like the ville is the only place where I can play with all my friends at once every night. This alone is worth any donation or contribution that the server needs.

But as for the banners, I also feel that it kinda takes away from the experience of the ville. I can go anywhere to find porn or credit card ads. But I think I'd like to see game ads, like downloads for internet boosters or mods and detail enhancing supports.( like I found a website that lets you custom your laser-dot,{smiley-face, rainbow,colors,ect.} There seems to be a lot of neat things you can add to the game without changing scripts, using hacks.

Maybe no one cares what i think, but i like hearing responces anyway. thanks

I agree with the thoughts stated here. I don't have much use for those banner ads. I will (and have) support The Ville by tossing them some $$$ when asked, since I think the group running it is 1st class all the way and deserve the support to keep it going.

The post on the main page was meant as purely sarcastic. As you will all see the banner ads are gone. The pop u ads will reamin for at least 2 more months. But.. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CLICK THEM!!!! DON'T CLICK THEM. So just bear with them for a little while longer then they will all be gone. Also.. Please point me to the first porn ad, I have yet to see one. Better yet, save the image for me as proof.
