Why the heck do so many people like this atrocity of a class? I just realised one of the main resons i've been going through TFC burnout. So many people play this class which is absolutly worthless and very annoying. They are the ultimate potshotters, which is lame to boot, and also horribly broken, since they can kill any class but the HW in a shot. (Need a headshot for HW.)

That's bad, yea, but i could deal with that. But it seems like latly every 1 out of 3 ville regulars choose this as thier primary class. The absolute least Team play oriented class. I'm curious. Why. What draws you to this class. Is it simply because 1 of 3 villuns enjoy potshotting?

Sorry if i offend the sniper coalition, but, seriously now.

No. Well, yes, but, could you explain? How is sniper fun? Maybe i just can't see it. I can (usually) find fun in any single class save sniper... I just don't get it i guess.

Snipers can provide good cover to other team members if needed. Or even hold back the enemy from advancing helping your team to advance, hence your frustration I assume. I play sniper usually when an enemy sniper is tearing my team apart.

how about headshot snipers? i hate snipers too, mostly those who get bodyshots and use the AR...i try to avoid those two as much as possible...being 2nd in headshots do you hate me? ;p

Not this kinda post again, please sniper is a TFC class so deal with it, i used to play sniper as my main class & enjoyed every second of it. Now that i had to go learn new classes for league play ive stopped playing so much, but lately ive gotten back into it & i will become a full fledged sniper once again & will continue to have fun..

P.S. Not all of us snipers take potshots & only play for stats when their sniping.

Maybe it's cause i've gotten used to playing on league servers where they are outlawed and i'm safe from them, and they just kill me too much when they are allowed.

snipers can be effective on certain maps...like on avanti....1 or 2 snipers, that actually cover a defensive setup or cap point, is fine....on offense...maybe 1 is already pushing it(unless that player really knows how to snipe). but its really pointless to waste a "body" thats on an attacking team to snipe. that player should be helping his team with the charge up the hill, staying behind and waiting for defenders to come to hime just makes it harder for his team.
