If you go to the STATS on the webpage and look under Weapon Statistics you will see there are currently 35 entries. The last 2 being the MG detonate and the familiar Caltrop Kill. Looks like they are all there. |

I never did bind a key to det my MG, I find its never around long enough with half of my teammates destroying on me cause they dont know what it is.

I dont care what Rob has proclaimed, it is STILL the 29 weapon club. All those fancy mg kills don't mean a thing in my book. I've found that the neomod has brought a new wave of lame players to the ville. They seem to have no sense of teamplay except constantly asking for someone to touch their mg. I'm also finding 5 offensive engies on avanti to be midly disturbing. I'm kinda hoping this is just some kind of phase and things will return to normal, but until then i'm going to try to avoid TV 3 and 4. But fear not, i'll still be around to fillet you all on TVs 1 and 2. See you around.

I have to say I'm sticking to TV1
Neo-Tf as it is right now, unbalances things hugely in favour of engineers.
Yes Spies get airstrikes, but they have to be reasonably close to the intended target for them to be effective
And as the mg's can distinguish between spies and friendly players - that's not possible.
And I'll say it before and say it again - it totally ruins team play maps like warpath and avanti - things become a total stand still.

I agree with greebo, at least take it off 2 so I can play a good game of warpath, I am an awesome spy but a single mg will kill me no matter what. 3 and 4, fine, I don't usually play them anyway, most regulars are on 1 and 2. I was on 3 yesterday, and just trying to explain the mod to everyone was hell. My own team kept killing my mg's and purposly avoiding them saying AAh WTF is that cheater? |

Rob,
Did notice that the system automatically responds now when peeps ask certian questions (like how do i build an MG?) Unfortunately, most peeps keep asking anyway. I step in the right direction though *thumbs up*
They only real MG that has some serious balls (assuming these are male, no insult intended to any female readers ) is the Tesla, the others (esp. the Nade launcher) I dont think are as strong or exacting in their aim. The Teslas take a moment to warm up but never seem to miss. When playing engie I always like to have teslas. But any map were there are 4 engies you can have 4 teslas and 4 SGs and it makes things tough. Cap 3 in Avanti comes to mind. Its more Hamburger hill them Avanti. I will say I enjoy the NTF mod but I think there should be lower engie class limits. 4 (i think is the current setting) is like 8 since each has 2 Guns (1 SG & 1 MG). Maybe 2 engies per side?

You should be able to take out a Tesla MG as soldier by throwing a couple rockets at it and maybe a primed grenade.... They take long enough to 'warm up' that this is possible, and it is their weakness. |

But what do you do when there's 4 teslas and 4 sgs? You may be able to destroy 1, but it will be rebuilt before you can say Jcom the transvestite.
