I HAVE BEEN HAVING MAJOR CONNECTION PROBLEMS -- FIRSTLY IF I ACTUALLY CONNECT I GET LAGG PEAKS OF 3000 -- MOST OF THE TIME I KEEP GETTING A CF_FlushEntityPacket MESSAGE ON THE SCREEN -- AND I KEEP DISCONNECTING AFTR A FEW MINIUTES F***


do any off u have any sujestions -- borg do u cos u were haveing trouble with a 56kmodem weren't u

One suggestion of the cl_flush_entity packets is to lower your rate. What is it set to right now? My other real problem was with my computer. I wish I could help you more. Maybe if I can get more info, I will be able to help more(still haven't really fixed all of my problems yet, but I am having a more stable connection with this new video card).

WOW. Your not upset are you?? It took me a good long time to get my connection to where it is today. My solutions came with much distress and a lot of $$$. I can't help to much with the settings department, I know very little. My latest machine has 768 megs of RAM, I noticed a HUGE improvement with that one. I have cable modem, speaks for itself. My graphics card has 64 megs of it's own to play with, I'm now running 60 fps continuosly with noo lag within machine. I'm not sure if this helps you out any but for me the answer was in the pocket book.

My most stable TFC time is with dsl or cable. I know in Britian it is very expensive (aka 100.00 us dollars or 50000000.00 candian dollars every month ).

Bobins, also ISP's can have issues in there modem banks and routing your connection. If it is a new prob without you changing you sys, then it most likly is your isp.

BTW I have a vodoo3 pci 16mb card. If you want it (sorry I have no AGP left). I will send it to the UK. Let me know (It should only take about 6 months via international mail lol))

Now you now know why borg and I hate our connection so bad. I get that all the time, and the best advice for myself is to stop getting AOL.

First off, calm down dude.

Next, go into your config and change your rate to 3000. You can always increase or decrease it, but that's a good place to start from. Next go to http://angrymonk.oesm.org/next/config.html and do what it says there. It really helped me when I was on dialup. Good luck dude.

sorry ppl -- and especialy to the admins -- i was a bit -- more like very -- wound up when i posted this -- it was just after i had been trying to get online for 1:30 hours -- i kept disconnecting every 5 mins and if i did connect i would have a ping of like between 1500 and 3000 that would last a few miniutes then i would get the CF_Flush thing then it would disconnect again

its a recent thing -- the other night when i played in the FNF it was fine -- the only other time that i have had a prob was a few weeks ago -- but the only thing i was getting then was the CF_Flush thing
