Did anyone see the CNN news spot about the kid who saved his cat?
This kid whose cat stopped breathing or was drowned saved it by using chest compressions.
He saw it being used in the half-life game blue shift!
While they were reporting this they were focused on the kids monitor while he's running aroud with his Knife out slashing and stabbing aliens. Gibs are flying blood is flying and here the news guy is saying even though it has violence the games are good for learning also. HAHA never would of believed it if I hadnt seen it. Playing it all the time you get used to the gibs but for peole who never see it I'm sure they freaked.

Soldier of fortune. Half life is the equivalent of little kittens playing with string compared to SoF. It's so fun to blow off ppls limbs 1 by 1 with a .44 shot at close range. Carmageddon 2 has another crazy senseless violence theme going on also. I'm pretty sure that we won't have to worry about half life being banned for a while.

Yeah - Carmageddon is the greatest "driving" game of all time - have had Carm 1 and 2 for many years - think I bought Carm 1 back in 1998 after playing the demo and laughing my ass off. Believe it or not - I still have the Carmageddon keyring I got in the Carm 1 and 2 maxpack
One way or another, I have had Carm 1 and 2 installed on my various pc's over the years since 1998

My computers have been haunted for many years by Disney's Coaster, a pretty primitive DOS roller coaster building "game". The whole thing fits on a floppy disk.

Wait, that's not what this topic is about. Umm, things you learn from TFC. How to deal with and learn from constant failure. It also legitimately builds good teamwork.

Computer games have taught me that the deaths of innocent human beings can be incredibly funny. Tfc taught me that knifing people is fun. SoF taught me that blowing people's limbs off his hilarious, and Carmageddon 2 taught me that running over people with crazy hot rods and big trucks is a great stress reliever.

Personally I find kickboxing a better method of stress relief. I've gotten to the point where I can have two of my friends punch at me as hard and fast as they can and I can stop most of their punches (except for when one of them hits me in the back, cheap bastards).

I'm too lazy to do kickboxing and any bullshit like that. Senseless killing has always, and will always be my stress reliever...and breaking and entering. That's another great stress reliever (although it can be a hell of a stress producer if you get caught) Kids don't pay attention to what I say.

Not at all! I agree with you, it is a great stress reliever for the more reprehensible tendencies that we have. I was just saying there is a word for what you are trying to say.

P.S.

STRESS -- That confusion created when one's mind overrides the body's basic desire to choke the living sh*t out of some Llama who desperately needs it!

[I know. This has been around for a while, but I thought it fit]
