Woohoo my summer vacation has started. I'm going on a cruise to Alaska!!! I get to go sport fishing and take some helicopter tour of these glaciers, not to mention the 1,000,000,000 things you can find on the ship! Taking a flight out to seattle tonight and tomorrow I'll catch a bus to Vancouver and board the cruise ship. I'll be back from the cruise around next Monday. Catcha all then _________________

Should have excellent weather. We in Vancouver area are just coming out of a heat wave for us +/- 90 deg. Next week looks ok not so hot. The port here is world renowed for it's beauty, imagine the white capped mountains to one side of the harbor the high rise downtown core and terminal the other. The terminal is a hotel convention center and its roof looks like 5 gigantic ship sails. As your ship comes into harbor it JUST squeeks under the Lions Gate bridge, which is a suspension bridge. A few years ago the USS Ranger came in, it sailed out at low tide and had 3 feet clearance from the mast to bridge. It truly is a beautiful city. Anyways enjoy have fun and remember your US dollar equals one hell of a lot more than Canadian low bucks. _________________

I went on an Alaska cruise last summer....IT WAS SO GREAT..OMG!
You will be stuffing youself silly....believe me..there is just some much daym food and all-you-can eat buffets all over the ship
The idea of isolating yourself on a huge boat with all your necessities is so fun.
You go and enjoy yourself |

From Texas...remember, when you get to Alaska, that if you cut Alaska in half Texas would be the 3rd largest state... |
